WOW-WEDNESDAY

 It's Wednesday again.
Same old Song, huh?
Here are the blocks that I cut out Monday.
They stitch up pretty fast.
6" Sewing Baskets Block
Tiniest hsts ever!

12" Honey Bee

12" Farm to Table Block.

I had a little "Prang" on my home from my
 Sister's house.
In Australia a crash is called a Prang.
I never go to that intersection to turn left there!
Anticipated the light and Bang, took my foot off the brake.
My Malibu needs a face lift, lol
Can't get it in until October 31st, WOW!

It was hard to decide which Gladiolus to enter in the Walla Walla Fair and Frontier Days
This is my 1st time doing Floriculture.
The coral and purple were too bloomed!
Such pretty flowers, delicate and definitely
not easy to get to grow straight.

I think I have 2-3 more 12" Blocks to make.
I cut out 3 more big blocks last night
One is a 6" so I can start sashing and
putting rows together.

The Tractor of course is
'John Deere' Green!

Rise and Shine Rooster

The cow was 6" in my last Farm Girl Vintage Quilt.
This quilt gets a 12" Milk Cow!
I need to decide which background fabric
to use for it.

Peas and Carrots is a 6" block,
 lots of flippy squares!

It's Free Day at the Fair.
Can't wait to see what color Ribbons I get
And to go see the Beach Boys with my Daughter!
Yeehaw!

Last Summer Fri-Yay

 Lazy Daisy x 2
6" blocks

The blocks are getting done ✔️
A few at a time.
A bit of Quilt Yoga happening again to get a picture with the newest Blocks.

When I make 12" blocks
Sometimes they are harder.
This one was a booger!

Strawberry Jam Jar
Had to make it biggie sized.
Love fussy-cutting when I can!!

Barn Cat
6"
I am loving how each block is a puzzle.
I cut out a few at night so I can stitch them in the morning.

Elder Bailey and Elder Lots
Elder Lots is being transferred to Hermiston.
Bye, for now!

It's a  Christmas in August for us at
Powered by Fabric.
Gotta cut out and sew a few more of the
Evergreen Mystery SAL.

Wow-Wednesday

Tuesday was a Fix it, Fiddle with it day.
The last row in the Book Review Quilt needed
 one block turned 45 degrees.
I had to use my Frogger by Clover.
Rip- it, Rip- it!

These Gladiolus are blooming too pretty!

I read that I need one stem to turn in next Tuesday morning at 11am.
Which color will be in Bloom that day?

It was a Pickling syrup evening.

Not sure, but I think this was one of my
Mommas plates/saucers.
Perfect for keeping my Pickles in the syrup.

I was just going to cut out a few blocks.
My Fat Quarter Shop order arrived while I was in Tri-Cities on Monday.
I needed that Chickenwire fabric for the 'Crow'

I still hate log Cabin blocks 🚫
These are called Winter Quilt.

This one was almost a block, when I realized I had those blue parts pointing in.
Time to quit, Nope!
I'm grateful I didn't give up.

I had one more cut out to stitch.
Cut the red part wrong size,
where did that red fabric go?
Had to switch it out.
1" sashing on a 6" block, Whew!!!

Whacha Working on?
Gotta get that top Flimsy on Betsy. I want it in the September Quilt Festival!

Monday Later than Usual - Tri-City Guild Day

6" blocks
New Baby & Starry Nights

Grandpa's Truck

I'm getting this done quicker than I think!
I laid them all out before making the goat.

Friendly Goat

I love to see the colors of the Gladiolas I planted.
My Daddy grew Roses and Gladiolas.
Mom called them "Glads"
The Purple one might be just right for turning in at the Fair next week.

I had a smoky drive up to Tri-Cities this morning.
Praying for the Fires to be contained.
And for rain to dilute the thick smoke in the sky!

It's a Fri-Yay mid-August

 I love my Fri-Yay days.
Paul asks what's my plan, he should know by now!
This week I stitched in the evenings.
Block by Block, tiny pieces become this quilt.
Small Town
These are all 6" blocks so they could be
spread all around, in the final quilt.

Sister's Choice

2 blocks ready to stitch!
These have almost the same Farm Girl Vintage 2 fabrics that Lori Holt used.
Sew fun for me!

Can you guess which Block this will be??
He has a chick on him...the yellow is the Chick.

Oh, we went to the County Fair, 47 years since
 our  first Date there.
But 1st we had to take our Grandson;  Jacob to the tour inside the Moses Lake Temple.

Grandpa changed his shirt, and

I changed into pants after the Tour.

And a drive by the house where I grew up.
The grass, flowers and white Picket Fence are
 long gone, so sad 😞

These are my great Nephew and Niece's who had Lambs in the Fair.
The youngest took home the Big Ribbons,  lol

Got my Spaceburgers
Jacob approves

Had to pose him and get pictures by the cutouts

Not sure what Popeye and Olive Oil
have to do with the Fair.

Just one of the winning Quilts.

Too hot to stay for long.

The entrance photo op as we were leaving.

That's all Folks.
Happy Fri-Yay!
