Happy Fri-Yay - Walla Walla Fair and Frontier Days

We went to the Walla Walla Fair and Frontier Days 

Wednesday was Free Day until 3pm. 

I bought tickets to see Martina McBride. 

Here we are in the Grandstand seats.

Martina didn't disappoint!

Our Funnel cake was super yummy too.

On the way out we stopped to watch the sea lions 

Jump up to pose. Here they wait for their 

reward of a fish!

$20 is too much for a photo op with them.

The best things was seeing the Quilts. 

I saw them before the crowds got there.

There weren’t as many Quilts.

I didn't get any entered.

Good job to whoever set this up.

I'm so glad I don't have that job anymore!

No monitoring of the Quilts makes me

A bit leary of entering.

The center Block of the Christmas in July SAL 

from Fat Quarter Shop is sewn.

"Star of Wonder"

I ran out of this fabric...

Went downtown and the bolt is missing. 

We looked all over the store for it!

I used some of the pieces I cut for a 

different part to finish. 

Also did some extra piecing of scraps to make

 a couple extra squares.

It sure felt good to stitch something! 

We had a great weekend with the Ransom's.

Olivia spoke in her Ward & started her home MTC. 

Excited to hear all about the Mexico MTC.

Today is the Free Day at the Walla Walla Fair and Frontier Days. 

We have tickets to go to the opening day concert 

with Martina McBride.

My 1975 Class 50th Reunion is coming right up!!

They gather on the 3rd Monday at our favorite 

Pizza place- Chico’s 

We are making a plan.  

I cut more flowers to enjoy inside.

It's a Fri-Yay Gift-away, Blog-o-Versary

Time gets away too fast these days.

I had a little detour to Omaha- 18 months.

COVID happened- Still here!

than I used to.

I sorted books and have a few Extra.

Wow Wednesday

SQUIRREL Time!!

I shared the New Tula Pink fabrics on Monday.

Tuesday I played with some out of print Tula. 

Gnome Angel from Australia issued a

 Churn Dash Challenge.

 A mini quilt with 9 blocks.

Sounds easy peasy, right?

Choices, Choices!

I went with the Top left one. 

It looks like a Traditional Churn Dash. 

The stripes are tricky.

Hope I have enough of the Background print..

I checked at Stash. None there!

Used my Stash Cash and got a fat Quarter and a

 1/2 yard cut for Free. 

This one could be the center.

I can use the lighter background for the other 8

The Gladiolus are too tall.

They keep falling over. 

I won't be entering the Fair this year.

This one is my Favorite!

We have one Green Bean that germinate.

I woke up too late to go to Eddie's. 

. Went down the rabbit hole watching TV last night.

 I found this Layer cake in my Stash.

I wanted to try the Tutorial that Jenny did a

 couple weeks ago. 

It was kinda Tricky!

I did buy the pattern so I can see different layouts

Bundles and Bows by Material Girlfriend's.

I like it.

There's a big space downstairs for a Design floor.

I called around to check on a border fabric.

Had to get some on Amazon.

It comes on Friday...

I got the New Tula Fabric.

Tabby Road De ja Vu

Had to check out the old Tabby Road from

 my Stash to compare.

I didn't buy the Mice. 

The diamond pattern wasn't found yet

Fun difference between the two. 

What will I stitch today?

Fireworks Hangover

It was the last night of Sweets Baseball 2024.

Hubby stayed Home.

It was a Victory for these Boys of Summer

And for us Fans!

Host families were honored.

Fans were Celebrated.

It was a fun night.

The Bobblehead Givaway looked like this

Sweet Lou won the race with the Yellow Duck 

from the Ducky Derby.

Back to my Bernina today.

Gotta try again to learn the Q-matic.
