Congrats to the new mom and dad in Missouri. 

They had a long day and night.

Wow-Wednesday

I call it Purple Passion.

Its time to get this one loaded on Q 20 to finish.

I entered it in the September Quilt Festival. 

I found in in my totes under the longarm 

I could ba a show stopper.

I have some un stitching to do first.

I took my Flower entries in yesterday.

This Gladilola started just in time.

This tiny Rose hopes for a blue Ribbon 

Today is Free Day until 3pm.

We'll go at 11 when the Pavilion opens.

What a Weekend!

50 years!  

Paul appeased me and we drove to the High School 

My Crimson and Gold Quilt.

All done

 I had to buy a red shirt to go with my Red shoes. Clicking my heels, to take me way back...

This was Friday

Trying to get us all gathered was a task!!

Thankful for sister and spouses who took pictures 

A great turnout.

A few more locals showed up on Friday...

I was glad.

Pulled, Smoked BBQ Pork,  baked potatoes, baked beans, coleslaw, my Frogs Eye salad and Cookies galore. There was a cake. But we didn't cut into it.

It was so nice after it cooled off a bit.

My Quilt took in $350 at the Auction. 

I asked for a picture with the high bidder.

Kevin said sure.

It's a Friyay Finish!

Her I am in my hometown 50 years after I graduated  from MLHS!

Tacking down the binding in the hotel.

I got it halfway done before we left this morning.

A Session in the Moses Lake Temple was on the agenda for us.

Last night was soo much fun.

It was loud and I got lots of big hugs. 

I only took one picture with my longtime friend.

She said we had all our classes together in Jr High.

Hope to see more people tonight.

The Memorial wall had a few too many friends on it with pictures for most.

Memories flooded my mind of these Classmates gone too soon.

I am so glad we could come!

Wow-Wednesday

 Well, Well Well...

I ended up staying home from Tri-City Quilters Guild on Monday. 

My Old Town Mystery has been on the Q20

Way too long. 

Monday was the day to tackle the unpacking, fitting the Panto into the left over space in that row.

Then I got almost to the end of the next row and the needle broke. Oops!

Frustration!! What to do? I shut it down and 

went for a ride downtown. 

I bought 2 new bobbins so I could start the row and hopefully not run out.

Wrong! Almost to the end, the thread broke.

I got to the final row and held my breath.

It isn't perfect by any means but it's done 

and it's mine!

I trimmed it up and took it outside to get 

a good picture.

The binding will go on and be sewn while I'm at my high school reunion. 

So, on today's agenda! 

The Crimson and Gold Quilt. 

I hear there will be an Auction Saturday night.

I think that's where the classmates will bid.

Now, I'm nervous!

Wish me luck!

If I can get it quilted tomorrow, without troubles...

I will have two Quilts to bind. 

It's a smaller Quilt, so I will have time for 

my Hair appointment. 

I gotta pack my suitcase too.

And start the Frog Eye Salad.

Monday - TC Quilt Guild Day

I am awake! 

I don't want to miss thet Tri-City Quilters Guild.

I didn't get the binding on the Quilt I brought home.

Time flew this month. 

Too much gardening and Temple Time. 

I am happy to see blooms on my Dahlia.

This one is hidden down in the leaves.

The Gladilolas bloomed and fell over while we were on our short Vacation. 

I have one week to wait and see what blooms

 in time to turn in at the Fair.

Then I have one day to Quilt my 

50th Reunion Quilt 

It needs one more Border.

Crimson and Gold Forever!

I got new Glasses.

I will get my hair trimmed on Wednesday. 

Thursday night the fun begins at Chicos!

Here we were at 40 years.

FriYay already

It's FriYay and that means Vacation is over.

We had a few days with 5 of our Wyoming Grandchildren and their Parents in 

Spokane and CdA. 

Back to real life...

Our Neice, Anita lives in Spokane Valley.

She met us in the packing lot at Mirabeau meadows

She came with Popsicles to share. 2nd cousin's met!

I braved the sandy Beach, waves lapping on 

my feet and legs. 

The sunscreen helped a little.

My lower legs are Sunburnt!

We drove to Moses Lake on the way home.

49 years since we met

We were babies on that 1st date at the Grant County Fair.

His youngest showed her lamb in the

 Premie division. 

Good it wasn't a bigger lamb.

Best part, I got my Spaceburger!

And a couple to take home.

60 years of the Lady Lions making them at our Hometown Fair.

The only other thing we did was look at the Quilts.

I didn't know any of the makers.

The cake display was cute, so I took a picture.

Laundry is going, caught up on emails and 

did the Printing of downloads.
