Wow-Wednesday-Counting my Projects to take.

Thinking about which projects to take
with me to Nebraska.
When Paul sorted shirts, I hid the discard
pile from the garbage bag.
Quite a selection here.
I decided to cut just the Back out of each shirt to make more
Moth in the Window blocks for his Quilt.
A nice stack to take.
I'll deal with the rest of the shirt later.
Last count I had made 26 Blocks.
About half way there.

It's a Roll and Pie  making day now that we got back from our overnight Anniversary trip to Spokane.
We braved the chill to walk from the Riverfront park and find the Red Wagon.
I got a Carmel Apple with Chocolate and nuts in the Mall at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate shop.
I  decided we should sleep under our Wedding Quilt again.
Turned sideways it fit the King-sized bed.
Tuesday morning we got up to attend the Early session at the Spokane Temple.
We clean up pretty good for 43 years.
Luckily we missed a 60 car pile up later in the day when it snowed.
Whew, we know that prayers are answered.
A short detour to see my eldest Brother,
who is in Othello.
He's 78 now and in a wheelchair.
I told him we'll be going on our Mission.
He remembers he went to Florida.
I'm glad my DH, Paul had his address saved.

Now we have a family that numbers 34.
We more than fill the Pew!!
On December 29th we will see just how many pews we fill.

Remembered  not forgotten

Wow-Wednesday- National Kindness Day

Did you know it was National Kindness Day?
Last night, I  told my
Walla Walla Valley Quilt Guild
That December would be my last Meeting for 18 months.
It is so bittersweet.
I recieved many kind words, hugs and greetings.
Thanks, for 14 years of Guild friendship.
Paul took this picture of me,
In my Guild outfit...
Wearing my Guild logo on my t-shirt
& jeans overshirt.

It's another sorting and cleaning day.
My #1 Daughter is on her way...
Maybe pictures later, lol.

Design Wall Monday on a Tuesday

I was lazy and didn't post yesterday.
No excuses!
I did meet with Daughters of Utah Pioneers
for a yummy lunch and lesson about the Semi-Permanent Settlements from
Nauvoo to Winter Quarters.
Not many weeks and we'll be back there.
10 weeks until my Birthday!!
54 days til the MTC.

Today, I  just took a few minutes to
 Cut and Sew!
Next week is Tri-Cities Quilt Guild.
The newsletter gave the instructions
to make a BINGO card from
25 squares of fabric.
Easy & fun- right??
I sewed it on my Purple Bernina.
Speaking of Sewing Machines...
I have been making a Grateful post for each day in November.
This was Day #12
Day 12 Grateful for My Talents! Sewing and Quilting are much cheaper than Therapy. lol
I love all my Sewing and Quilting Machines! I  will miss a few of them in 2020. Still trying to decide which 1 or 2 to take?? I Love TIARA TIME!! I will miss that too.
Help!!!

I also cut out the last Quilter's Planner
Sew-Along Blocks.
I used my Mini Shape cut ruler to cut the background Squares.
I only need to make 12 of the tiny blocks.

Tonight is my Walla Walla Quilt Guild Mtg.
Just one more after this one.
Lots of lasts happening, I am a little sad.

Wow-Wednesday- OMG

Omg = One Monthly Goal
Judy Laquidara chose UFO #3.
While packing, I'll gather this one together.
It could be a Flimsy...
if only I liked making Log Cabins
So my OMG is to make a few of those dreaded blocks.
I'll link up HERE

62 days and Counting
More progress on the Garage.
DH - Paul took a half day off & got a lot done.
The "Fit" fits!
Wow- is the operative Word!!

Design Wall Monday- Quick Curve Ruler Challenge

I missed getting a quilt made for this Quick Curve Ruler Challenge.
 Amazing, Fun Quilts!
Life just passes too fast for doing everything.
I should have entered my Pinapple, now that I think about it.
My Sister and I have been busy vacating
This room...
All the Toys have been removed and I  can see the floor!
I didn't take a before picture.
These Vacuum Bags are fun to fill.
Full of pillows and air.

Reduced to a much smaller space.
No dust can get in.
This bag holds 4 totes worth of Kids clothes.
I have  packed a lot of stuff to take to Nebraska. These bags will pack tight in our tiny car and be covered with a quilt.
One suitcase with clothes to wear while in the MTC and traveling to the Mission.
I have a lot more to do to get ready to leave for 18 months.
How many projects can fit in a vacuum bag?
Gotta decide which ones to take first.
Have a happy Monday, I hope to get some time at the machine this week.
Wish me luck.

Friday Finally!! NEW Month to Be Grateful!!

It's November 1st!!
I did get a little Stitching in, Wednesday.
This Block is from Quilt In A Day.
I changed the Green to Gray and used a
White dot tone on tone for background.
Wonder what Block will come today.

The Colors for the Quiltville Winter Mystery
Were posted yesterday early morning HERE
I had an EARLY wake-up Alarm set.
I drove to Tri-Cities since there is
NO Lowe's in Walla Walla.
Got my Paint Chips!!
I love the combo.
I stopped by Janean's and Quiltmania to tell my Quilty shop owners where we're going.
At Quiltmania, I  knew I wanted to find some Fairy Frost to put in my Mystery.
The Rose  & Yellowy Green were
A Perfect Match!
Not much on the Rose Bolt, but when it was measured, Just Enough!!
Lucky me, right??
At Sew, Vac & Spas, I found the Floral.
Maybe for a Border...
I'll go throu my Stash with the Paint Chips, while sorting today for the rest of the Colors.

My Errands also took me to my DD#1.
So Grateful she likes to hang out with me
on her day off!
We went to Sweet Salt, her job was to help me decide on a couple New Dresses.
She has been showing lots of new ones on Facebook and even did a video.
I tried on a bunch, narrowed it down to 4.
I got these 3, plus a skirt & Top, not pictured.
The Top left one will be my Winter dress.
I have some scarves to changed it up.
The Light one is for Spring and Summer!
I'm already wishing for Spring!
The lower left dress is like Velvet.
Costa Vida for the Lunch WIN!
(with extra vegetables,  please)
Can you see that Spider? I wore Halloween Socks and this Spider headband
 as my easy Costume.

We had a dozen Trick or Treaters

These 2 Walla Walla Ghouls came!
Pictured with Grandpa Paul.
Happy, Sweet November!
