Balloons for Mother's Day Weekend

It's Mother's Day Weekend!!!
I live in a Town that really knows how to Celebrate Mother's Day.
They put balloons in the skies Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (Weather permitting)

My Poor Snowball Tree fell in the Wind that blew through last night.  The  wind has made it a NO Fly Balloon Day today, :(
I went outside and took pictures on Thursday, and when I looked outside to see if the Balloons were up early this AM, I saw my Snowball Tree with this limb all bent to the ground.
It's a Sad, Sad Day for my Snowball Tree.
Even though it isn't from the same tree that grew in my Childhood home's backyard.

The former resident's left me an abundance of pretty flowers and blossoming Trees to enjoy this time of year.

See all the blossoms on my Strawberries?  These and the pretty flowers remind me of my Dad, who loved to put his hands in the dirt and made beautiful things 'Grow'!

I have so much to be grateful for. Being a Mother is my greatest calling!
My Dear Mother and Mother-by-LOVE both set a very good example for me.

HERE's a You-tube that reminded me today of one of my fondest memories of her playing our big Piano.

Being a Grandmother makes the time and energy spent with young children all worth it!
My wish for the family to spend the week-end with me on Balloon Weekend doesn't happen much because School is still in session. As usual, I will be driving to see balloons alone- DH has to work!
May for ME!
This is my "May for Me" Post for this week.
Taking time to smell the flowers
