Wow - Wednesday August 3, 2016

I'm adding this Button to my Sidebar.
Quiltville's Annual the Leader Ender Challenge.
This is a good year Year to join the FUN!
I think I have gotten the younger quilter's into it also.
My 4-H quilter last week was using pieces of scraps as a "Spider".
I showed her how to make hourglass units out of the cutoff's from her 'flipped corner '
Even the other helpers thought is was a great idea!
I will post the girls and guys quilts while I'm at the Fair next month.
I turned in my entry form for the FAIR yesterday.

Pictures at my Lacey Lacers last night didn't take.
My camera quit working, something wrong with only my SD card, I hope.
Sorry, I'll have to show those items later also.

I have a stack of triangles made into hourglass in my drawer by my machine already.
Any corners trimmed from my Binding strips go into a ziplock.
Remember the HST's that got trimmed at the Fair a few years ago.
Thanks to Noel's diligence in trimming them for me.

They make fun scrappy 5-1/2" blocks

This was the start of my Pam Buda "Nabby's Dowry" and my "Ocean Waves Mini"
Changing to Hourglass L/E makes a bigger unit to put into a block.

I've decided my Secret Sewing will be a Mystery Quilt class at Sew n Vac.
September 8th and 22 are the dates.
If you live near Walla Walla and would like to make a Mystery quilt with me, Sign UP!
The schedule will be published later this month.
I started with a Jelly roll, but you could cut your own.

What are you working on this Late Summer Wednesday???
