Quilting Time

It's National Quilting Month-
I asked DH [Dear Hubby] to make a Quilt Ladder for me. It fits in the front entryway.
Just 2 - 6 foot boards and 6 Dowels to go in the drilled holes.
I might stain it and put some fabric over the dowels to protect my Quilts.
I'm happy to display a few of my favorite Quilts.

This is still happening in my Living Room.
My Sister, Roma came over to help me put it on the frames and she has come to help Quilt a few days.

I love seeing the stitches from underneath.

This weekend is National sew a Jelly Roll Day

This past week was the anniversary of 9-11
We learned about a Crowther who was there and saved fellow workers.

  1. Good of DH to build a quilt ladder for you. It looks good.
Excellent job on the hand quilting. I think it is fun to see the stitching from underneath, too. :)

  3. Beautiful quilt ladder. Mine is an actual ladder someone left at my house when looking at the attic! The quilt on the frame is beautiful. I always like seeing the back quilting, even from a longarm.
