Design Wall Monday- New, Fun Stuff

I have been Blog Hopping and got a bit off track at Happy Quilting HERE.
My Facebook and Instagram friends
 saw this last Friday.
I ordered a NEW iron.
It came and I love it!
It's Cordless and it's PURPLE!
Perfect for pressing HSTs.
I used some 'Paintbox' fat Quarters instead of Charm Squares for my Arrows.
I can stitch up multiples and make a
bigger quilt, right?
Those Grandsons might like it.
Not too flowery,  bold, bright solids.
I have made enough for 8 bigger Blocks.
I think I will need 24 or 36.
It was a distraction on a Stay-at-Home day.
This Squishie arrived from Quilt in a Day.
I signed up for the Mini Block Party
 this Summer.
Each month has brought a new pattern and for September,  though late for the August Facebook Live/YouTube Block party.
It's Eleanor's new fabric line called
Zelie Ann, named after her old
Hometown 'Zelienople' in Pennsylvania.
It's my Busy, get Ready for the
Walla  Walla Quilt Festival Week.
Daughters of Utah Pioneers starts back up today, Tuesday is WW Quilt Guild.
I missed it last month for a Sweets Game, lol.
Thursday is set-up day, Friday Quilt Festival begins at 10am.
Quilts were delivered along with my Challenge Block.
The Granddaughters will come on Saturday.
Our Temple is closed for 6 weeks so I can Spend Saturdays doing other fun things.
Oh, do I have plans!
The BLOG-O-VERSARY prizes have been recieved, Thanks for letting me know that they came right on time.
USPS delivers on time everywhere
 except to Wyoming.
Have a great Monday!

1st Friday September-OMG

I knew I loved September!
I had 2 Babies in the Month.
I Celebrate my Daddy's Birthday later too.
And there's always the Walla Walla Quilt Festival to attend.
My Challenge quilt didn't get finished, but I  had fun with the Tula fabric to make my Challenge Block.
I will share it next week.
I always have good intentions to get something finished every month.
My OMGs and UFOs aren't doing great.
My OMG/UFO for September is the Pat Sloan BOM from last year "Let's Go Camping"
I think I can get it to a flimsy.
I have another block or 2 to make.
Where's that Tote?
It's the day before the OMG link-up closes.

That Startitis is hitting me hard.
Too many Blogs to see and inspiration too!
I hope you're getting your stitches in.

One last Quiltin Grandma Camp

I've been looking everywhere for it!
This morning, I finally found it.
It's cut and ready to get sewn and pressed
Then I can tack it down while
 I rest up tonight.
It was a busy weekend.
Our 6th Granddaughter turns 6 today.
We got there too late to sing the song, eat the cake, & watch the girlies hit the Pinata.
We had her dad take our picture.
The Bishop took a different one to Submit with our Mission papers.
And now we wait...
Today, I  am  cutting with my
2 favorite Rulers
The Essential Triangle Tool and
 Tucker Trimmer.
These 2 rulers make Hsts better.

Design Wall Monday on a Tuesday, lol

Somedays it's a Monday all week!
I woke up to my alarm, pushed snooze and fell back asleep.
I thought just a half hour more...
Opps, woke up at 9:50.
Tri-Cities Quilt Guild starts at 10:30.
Zoomed over after packing the sewing machine, bolts of fabrics and 2 Quilts out to the car.
Got there as the program was going on.
My friend who has opened her Quilt Shop in Benton City. Honeybee Quilts.
She got to choose the winner of the Heart Challenge.
I missed out getting hearts in February.

This one was chosen Queen of Hearts
These quilts will go to Community Service.

I did get to VOTE for the Featured Quilter for 2020 Tri-Cities Quilters Show.
Della Ward
Jean Zoot
Dana Pearson
The voting continues through August 23

Then I went to make Pillowcases at DD#1 house with her 4 children.

The older girls had to go pick up their School Schedules and get their School ID Picture taken.
I stayed to watch these 2 and took their picture, with their finished Pillowcases.
I needed to have the older girls sign their Labels on the quilts I finished last week.
The big Reveal to come at the Fair.
For now I have some more Binding to do.
The 3rd Granddaughter's quilt will debut at the Quilt Festival in September.

Since Betsy is down for the count, it seems.
EDITED:Betsy is doing better.
I'm back on schedule for Fair entries.
I have a day to consider my options.
Everything happens for a reason.
I hadn't heard from my Friend that has me stitch her Bindings down in a while.
Yesterday, I got a call.
It's a fairly large quilt.
She has been busy stitching this Summer.

I need a Stitching day.
My calendar is not Full so...
That's what I'm going to do.
