FINALLY Friday

It was raining when I  took this photo.
Sometimes it makes a better one, No glare/shadows from the Sun
My Border isn't as Scalloped as I was hoping. More of a slight wave.
It was fun to do a Bias Binding.
I didn't miss doing the Mitered Corners.

My Tula Blocks to end the week -

The workers are trying to get the Driveway done.
It rained all day so this is how it looks right now.
Re-Bar is put down and forms are set.

Hope you are safe from the Rains and storms this week-end.
Prayers for those in the path of Hurricanes and Tornados

Wednesday - WOW Day 50 Tula Pink Sampler

IT'S Day 50!!
Toot the horns, pop the confetti!!!!

Here's my Day 50 Block

You can't see it, but there's a bit of Sparkle in this one.
The blue is a fabric with bling.
It's good to Celebrate this milestone day.
I tried taking pictures if all the blocks on the flannel I had them pinned to.

Photo Fail #1
Hanging by 1 pin just didn't work and the wind blew them around too.
So I unpinned them all and laid them on the Living Room Floor.

Much Better!
1-50 of 100 Blocks

Blocks 41-50
It's been fun to see my Tula Stash being cut up and turned into these fun Blocks.

I got the news that I WON a Prize from Meadow Mist Designs HERE.
I get to choose 3 PDF Patterns from her ETSY site.
I have to choose, click the link and tell me which ones you would choose.

It was from the Blogger's Quilt Festival Random drawing.
Thanks to all the Sponsors and Amy!!!

Meanwhile...
I did get the New Block Pages printed for My Secret Garden and 1930's Farmer's Wife.
I need to get something else done besides playing with my Tula Pink Stash.

There are still 3 Bindings waiting to be attached and sewn down.
I'm hoping for a Road Trip to tack one of them down.
It's the end of the Shop Hop on the Dry Side Week.
I have collected a few of the patterns. I'll show them another day.

Have a Great Wednesday
It's Sweater Weather!!

WOW Wednesday - Working on it!

I seem to have a one track mind in my Quilting Zone lately.
The Tula Pink Sampler has taken over all other projects.
I saw two examples of Setting the Tula Pink Sampler Blocks at the Quilt Festival.
The one on the left is made in Christmas Fabrics by Pat J.
The 2nd one is called Stash Bash by M'liss M

Since I am nearly half way to the 100 blocks I thought I should be looking at the settings.
I like the shadow effect and the connected sashing too.
Guess I need some help from my Quilting Committee.

I am doing good at keeping up with posting the correct Block each day and adding the hastags,
Here are the last 2.
Fussy Cutting is FUN, even when I sew one (Snail) upside down.

Who would have thought I would be using Hastags!???
I'm feeling OLD, can you tell?
My Baby turned 30 this month and my oldest will be 40 next year.
Monday she didn't have to go to WORK so we had Lunch.
First time since her Birthday was on a Sunday and I was traveling that we had a chance.
Tried out the Paninni at GRAZE.
She's much better at taking Selfies than I am.
No Selfie stick required this time.

Pat Sloan has Blogged the FINAL part of this year's  Secret Garden Block of the Month  HERE.
I still need to make the two blocks from last month. LOL

And this is on my Quilting Table today.
Allietare' is getting the Quilting!
I am quilting it with Black Thread, I am not sure I'm liking it, but I wanted to start.
No time to go and buy more Thread.
The Bobbins are adding up...how many will it take?

Whatcha working on this Warm Wednesday??
Fall returns tomorrow with Rainy weather.
