Friday Finishes! Shop Hop Pics

Here are my Pictures of the Pam Buda SAL!
I had some fun taking pictures of it outside in my back yard.
As you can tell by the label I finished it September 12, 2014
I waited until I saw it on Pam's Blog.
Pam has been showing her "Airing of the Quilts" HERE

I've been traveling with these Walla Walla Friends Shop Hopping!

This photo was taken on Day two at our last stop.
Below are some of the Quilts the shops made to show how to use Fat Quaters.
We were given a different color at each shop.
Urban Log Cabin

Metro Rings
After visiting all 12 shops our name goes in a drawing for this Machine.

On our LONG trip around from Halfway to Joseph, we saw two Barn Quilts.
Walla Walla Sew n Vac had a Quilt Challenge
Only two of us got our quilts done.
They decided not to have the Shop Hoppers Vote and put our names on them.
We BOTH get a Gift Certificate from the store.
Can you guess which one is mine?

Hunter's Star

The Sewing Basket has a NEW Building in the back.
Check out the Floors!

It's full of fabric, shelves to the Ceiling!
The front section is still a Maze with fabric stacked all around on the floor.

Aunty Ida's Bento Box

This is MINE!
I used the "Block Magic" Books by Nancy Johnson-Srebro.
The car and Maple tree are 6" blocks and the Quilt Shoppe is 15".
It was fun to fussy cut the faces to put inside the car windows.
That fabric is from some of the St Jude line that we had at Hancock's.
I call it
"All Roads Lead to the Shop Hop"
Did you guess right?

Today I Finished my Passport and turned it in at Aunty Ida's in Hermiston, Or
The Fat Quarter's I got from each shop!
I'm not showing the rest of my new Stash Enhancement...

American Made- Farm to Fabric Challenge/ Row by Rows

I am working hard to finish a quilt to register in the Farm to Fabric Challenge  HERE
I got my fabrics, I have a design in my head.
The deadline is coming up too quick, but I work best under pressure- RIGHT?
I'll be cutting into this pile of Pretty fabric very SOON!
The best part is the fabric is a LOT less than the normal Fabric at the LQS-
 I paid $7.14/ yd today.

It has to a minimum of 25" square.
It could be chosen for the exhibit at Houston Quilt Market in October.
Can you hear me jumping up and down if that happens!!???

This song has been playing in my head
Sing along with me and Bruce!!!

By the comments on FB I sewed the Christmas row together.
I ignored the ones that said to take out the Lime Green one.

Melissa got this row for me in Bothell
and this one in Tacoma

My Rows are all DONE- Not perfect but DONE-
Now on to the assembly and the Quilting.
It looks a bit like a Calendar quilt -so I put the rows in this order.

Taking suggestions for a border and sashing color.
