I am so amazed at the way Bonnie can make two blocks and a 

set color way work into such a Beautiful Quilt Mystery.

Does that mean I can start something NEW?

Hahaha, of course everyone knows I can't pass 

up a challenge!

I love the choices, now to choose the #3 Yard.

I figured the Jelly Roll would help with the

 stripping and give some variety.

I also have a Tri-Cities Quilt Guild Challenge for the Show in March.

The Challenge Theme is "Origins"

Well, I have ideas spinning in my head about this Challenge.

Best Memory of my Childhood is when my daddy painted the house PINK!

We had a White Picket Fence and a Weeping Willow Tree.

Later he grew Beautiful Roses, and planted Blue Spruce Pine trees in the yard.

Oh, and the Big Snowball Tree in the back by our Clothes line.

The neighbor said he could plant a stick and it would Grow.

Those were his Geraniums.

I ran a few errands and came home to sort and clean in my sewing room.

I've done some Cutting for the Mystery Parts I need to make Block B and More Block A.

I even found some things I haven't seen since Last Year.

Sister's - part 2

This is the Wall of Employees quilts on THE STITCHING POST in Sister's, Oregon. 

It is the main wall that has quilts on it. 

 Jean Wells owner of the Quilt Shop started "The Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show" 37 years ago.

Below are a couple of the Challenge quilts for 2012.  I like the houses and the 3 Sisters Mountains in the background.

                                      Quilt Block Challenge  (Bonnie Hunter has one on this wall.)

There was a "Kids Zone"  I liked the chalk on the pavement for the 'Young Artists'

                                                   Here are some of the same Hounds that I used for my 

                                    McCall's final challenge last year.

A local Guild Challenge was based on "Peter Pan"

 Such creative and detailed quilts that I would never make, but I admire the beauty of them.

                                         

 I Love Sunbonnet Sue in any form.  This 'Through the Year' version was great and look at that applique in the border.  Next to it a "Dresden Plate" done in pastels.

I used to be in a Yahoo group that swapped Pretty Kitties.  I could make one of these with the ones I received.  There is even a Mouse there near the center.

I had to take pictures of these Wooden Chests that had the lids carved and painted with folded quilts.  The cost was a bit steep $795.  The Double Wedding Ring one was SOLD.

This one is for my Quilt Buddy, LYNN.  A Log Cabin setting in blue!  She likes Friendship Stars, too.

I wish I could have taken pictures of each quilt in the show.  I don't think it is possible with all the people who come to Sister's for this SHOW every year.

I know it would help me with the SHOP HOP Challenge for Sew-n-Vac.  It's still hanging up there on the WALL.  Waiting for some INSPIRATION to make for the Challenge. It doesn't look as wild or crazy when you see what goes with it...

Maybe the Guidelines that I WON from the Weekly Contest over at Quilting Gallery will give me some Help. I got an e-mail saying they shipped my order!
