Spokane Valley Quilt Show Fun!

After 3 long Years I got to go to Spokane with my WW Quilt Guild on a Bus to the
2022 SVQS - Extravaganza!

Both of these Quilts were made by Darlene Mossman
Frolic and Good Fortune Mystery by Quiltville
They were the only "Quiltville Sightings" in the Show.
One of the Quilters in the Memorial Room had a Good Fortune in a Picture.
They had 5 Memorials set up in another room to honor those Quilters.

Here are the 2 Farm Girl Vintage Quilts I saw.
Made by Debbie West and Julia Marvel

These two were just Fun!!!
A Pickup Truck full of Bolts and Beach ladies, from the back.
StQuilter's Love Fabric  & "Forever Young"
The makers had a good time making these!

2 Quilts I liked from the Featured Quilter - Cheryl Clossin
"Purple Rain"
"Star on Ice"

I always enjoy seeing the INMQ Treasure Challenge Quilts made from Vintage/Antique Blocks.
Re-Imagined by the Quilters.
I hope you like them too.

"Improved 9-Patch"

Grandmother's Flower Garden
"Sunny April Showers"

I forgot to get a full picture of the Stars one.
"Reaching the Gems"

"Springtime Tulip Baskets"

This one was Called  "For the Love of Baskets"
Can you see that they just added 'Braided Trim' handles to the HST's

"Spring Planting"
Note that these are random Hourglass Blocks with stems
She did Quilt as you go on each Row.

"My Flower Garden"
Inspired by a TQS Show with Mandy Sloane

The Farmer's Wife Quilts are a Favorite!
The SVQS Raffle Quilt was also Farmer's Wife
I love it in Blue. Extra Blocks made into Pillow Covers.
Yes, I Got a few Tickets!

There were so many more that I could have photographed.
The CherryWood "Diana" Challenge was so great with sparkling Tiaras and lovely Quilting.
Pictures just don't do them justice. But I tried...

The 2nd and 5th place Winners were there.
The Winning Quilts aren't all here, just a select few.
I took a Picture of the poster showing the Winners.

I am not putting them all on here.

I met up with one of the 2017 PNW Quiltville Retreat Quilters.
Here we are from 2017 - Still Cheesey!
Wearing our Sewing Jammies.
Susan and I have met up at the Spokane show before...
This time we had Lunch together and walked trough looking at Quilts and the Vendors.
No time to Vote on Favorites.
The Show goes on through Sunday!
Next Year I hope to go 2 days!
