5th Sunday in Nebraska

Elder Crowther asked me if I was still Blogging.
Well, I have been a little busy...
We are trying to get things all ready for the busy season at the
Mormon Trail Center & Kanesville Tabernacle.
The History Department and our Boss are coming in March.

I want to make a quilt for the cradle in the Cabin.
I ordered some 1850's reproduction fabrics, they came in the mail this week.

I need to decide soon what pattern I will use.
Any suggestions from my Blogging friends???

We try to get out and see some of the sights too.
I wish we could have gotten pictures of the cool brick houses on 52rd street.

The Lincoln Monument in Council Bluffs was fairly easy to find.
Well need better directions to find the Black Angel.

The Antique Shops are interesting, but I didn't buy anything!

When I saw all the PEZ, I thought of our Son by Love, Andy.

I spent Saturday evening laying out a few Blocks and stitching them for my Frolic Mystery.

4 More to add to the 11, Yea!
Happy Monday, tonight is Sister's Night at Sister Johnson's (upstairs)

Monday before Christmas- December 2019

Saturday, I  got my Christmas Wish!
Jared and Alexi were sealed
The weather was perfect for pictures.
Especially for December...
Just look at those fluffy clouds!

I am still getting a few stitches in.
Quiltville Mystery part 4 is about 1/2 done.
Making more hsts with Quiltville's
Essential Triangle Tool.
Edited to add: Today is
Granddaughter #7 Birthday.
On Christmas we Celebrate her Mother.
It's fun to have Christmas Tina in our family.

Next Friday,  the Wyoming family arrives.
We move my Sister here to watch the house.
On The 29th we talk in Church.
It used to be called a Farewell.
It's just Bye for now...
14 days from today we'll be at the Provo Mission Training Center.
I hope to Blog on my Preparation Day.

Until then, thanks again for following along.
Merry, Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Design Wall/Floor Monday - Quilter's Planner Sew-Along

I can't  believe I found time to sew!!!
I had to get up early and sew the Part 2 of the Quiltville Mystery 'Frolic'
About 1/2 done in this picture.

After making candy all day with my
girls and my Sister.
Way too much fun!!
They left around 2:30 so I
went downstairs to sew.
The blocks were all made, I thought.
I made the 2 blocks in 2nd picture in August.
They were not correct. 1st Picture is right.
This one was made back in January, with a different background fabric.
I changed background fabric in February.
So I remade the Outer Ring Block 1.
Some rows were already sewn together.
Now, all sections are sewn.
There's hope to Finish the Flimsy
by year's end.
Linking up with Design Wall Monday HERE.
