Monday- after Retreat

Our Walla Walla Valley Quilt Guild had a Retreat
in Lewiston Idaho last week.
I couldn't get there until Thursday night.
It was Shelly's 1st Retreat.
The Lodge was quiet and we Sewed and Sewed!
The Food was good and we ate way too much.
This is the end of my Vacation time after our week in California.

I had cut out a couple of Blocks for the Vintage Christmas to sew up at Retreat.
Using up the leftover Lalyer cake from the FQS Christmas SAL last year.
Christmas Star, City Sidewalks, Glimmer & Cozy Star Blocks.
Bonus HSTs turned into tiny Hourglass units.
HSTs would be way to small.

I was tired of tiny block parts so I got out my RBD Block Challenge book
This is the last Block posted.
"Woven Together"
I will make this one again.
Not enough contrast on the light side.

The One Sister Design Class project got some time at the Retreat on the last day.
She said the blocks reminded her of the old cameras that looked like this.
I finished a few more stars.
Gotta cut more 1 3/4" strips of the Neutrals and 1 1/2" of the colors.

My "Easter Joy" Tulips were blooming for Easter.
No Mission Reunion is planned, so we get to stay home for General Conference.
Today was UFO Day, but I've burned out and needed a rest day.

I think it's Spring Break in Tri-Cities.
Usually it's Grandma Quilt Camp, but that hasn't been scheduled yet.

Monday- Christmas in March

It was a Monday!!
Flat tire after parking at Powered by Fabric.

Hubby came to the Rescue!

In my Weekend of Sewing in the Hotel.
This was my Set up.

I finished the Stars I had cut at the Class
With Janet Nesbitt.

And sewed 4 Blocks

Today I found some Bonus Triangles in
 Christmas colors.
These are blocks from the Vintage Christmas
Pattern by Lori Holt
"Cozy Star Block"

I have a bunch more Bonus Hsts.
I loved using them up in a fun block.
I could make a Christmas table Runner.
We'll see!

Hope your Monday was more
 productive than mine.

Monday- Monday

 It's still Monday!
But I will back up to Saturday.
We had a Class with Janet Nesbitt
of One Sister Designs.
Sponsored by our Walla Walla Valley Quilt Guild.
We worked on making Stars for her 'Focus Quilt'

I started making them scrappy and realized they needed to be two fabrics.
Glad I noticed before stitching them all wrong.
I still used the Frogger more than I wanted.

The Stars go into a triple Churn Dash

We came home to Spring in our Yard.
Today, Paul Mowed the Lawn.

This morning was Tri-Cities Quilt Guild.
We voted on the Quilt Challenge entries.
Theme is 'Origins'

The Quilts were fun to see hanging.
We have to wait until Thursday to know
which one got the most votes.

How was your Monday?
