It was fun to sew the parts of the Mystery Clue 2 down at the Local Quilt Shop.
I didn't get my pre-cutting done so that took a lot of the time we had allowed.
I chain stitched and got the biggest part finished.
I sorted grey easy angle triangles to sew on the right side first.
My Guild friend, Fellow Bonnie Fan, Jessica came to sew the Mystery with me.
She worked on Clue 1 and has Clue 2 ready to stitch.
I dressed to match the Mystery colors.
Sherri our 2016 Guild President came but she was working on another project.
1st set of 4 done
I need to count better!
Only 15 sets of 4 completely finished after I got back home.
We'll see if there are more who will join us next time.
Today was short notice and it was a very busy day in Walla Walla with
The Farmer's Market, Bazaars, Craft shows and the Light parade.
I started the day with my DD#2

Our Ward Relief Society Christmas Brunch was more fun,
because I didn't have to go alone this year!
She said she would see me later and when we went to see them before the Light Parade...
We got our EARLY Christmas gift from our children.

It's been on my LIST for a Long, Long Time!
DH put it up as soon as we got it home.
Jesus really is the Reason for the Season,
Now the outside of my house shows it!

How fun to get together to work on the mystery. That would keep you going on it for sure, not that you need a motivator to keep at it. : )
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice Christmas gift from family.
Oh Mary, you are always so busy! How fun to work on the clue with friends.
ReplyDeleteLove your Christmas gift.
nice! I need to get busy on my pieces now. I love your newest nativity, I'm surprised you didn't have one outside already (knowing how much you love them).
ReplyDeleteLovely units for Clue 2, the reds are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteDressing up to match the mystery is a fun idea.
ReplyDeleteI love the nativity! That's wonderful. How much fun to have a daughter to go to the brunch with you. You are using different colors for Alletaire? Or yours are just brighter? It seems more cheerful than the others I've seen.
