2022 Mission Reunion - St George

 I've been gone and BUSY doing other things than Stitching.

President and Sister Johnson planned a Great Reunion for our Mormon Trail Mission.

It meant we had to drive 2 days to get there.

The first night we stayed with out friends in Spanish Fork.

I didn't get a picture with them. (SAD FACE)

I did get my Dole Whip!

On the way we stopped in Beaver to see the Family Statue that used to be at 

Kanesville Visitor's Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa

The Beaver Daughters of Utah Pioneers Museum has it now.

It was closed on August 31st so we didn't get to go inside.

Here are our Famous Mission Leaders!

They gave all of us Senior couples this fun, cut metal design of our LOGO.

We had a fun evening together.

Talents shared and Yummy food, of course!

Saturday we went to the Mountain Meadows Memorial site.

There was a Tour Group there.

We learned a bit more about the Mountain Meadow Site.

We didn't get Tickets to go to Tuacahn, but we drove over to see it.

I love the Red hills!

Instead we went to a Heritage Choir Concert at the St George Tabernacle.

We were extra early so we got the Tour from a Young Service Missionary.

The choir filled the seats and were on both sides of the Balcony.

We were in the Balcony so my pictures aren't that good.

Special Guest Cellist KaWa Hu and a Men's Trio.

My VERY Favorite was the Medley the Organist and Pianist did with suggested Songs and Hymns.

This statue was on the grounds.

We went all around and saw the Statue Garden nearby. 

I'll do another post with those Pictures.

The only picture I got with fellow Missionaries is this one at the Brigham Young Winter Home.

We learned about this building that Brigham built for Meeting with his apostles in St George.

We had been here before but Elder Ried did a great tour for us.
