freezing rain and then SNOW and freezing Rain again.

There are 2 Blog Tours that I know of happening this week.
The one I'm most excited for is the Quiltmaker 100 Blocks HERE
I bought a copy at the Albertson's, looked at it and put it someplace safe.
I counted the pieces in Bonnie's Block which is on the Cover again.

Martingale is sharing the new All in a Row - Again book HERE
SEW Much FUN to go and see the Rows and Blocks.
My Head is spinning.

There's a Cake Mix QAL over HERE

Saturday's Letter was "E"

I had to really think hard to find something that started with "E".
I didnt' have an Elephant handy.

On my Design Wall/Floor I have all of the Letter Blocks I have Made so far.
(Only a few Hundred left to make)

It takes longer to cut them out than to stitch them up...
Saturday was a Sew-In but I stayed Home and sewed in my Quilt Zone.
No Tiara Time with Brandy this month.

My Patchwork Edition Bernina is ready to be picked up from Spa Day.
I will be SEW- Happy to have it back.
The 1/4" foot on my Artista just doesn't give me the same seam width.

Design Wall Monday - Off the table, lol

Kathy in Canada has projects falling off her table, HERE
I had to laugh!!
It TRUE!  Some projects need to 'fall off the Table'

My Wall isn't as big as I need for the Tula Pink Quilt so it's on my Quilt table.
I still need to sew in those last few sashing vertical strips.
This flimsy still could happen in October.
I have the Sashing fabric in the house.

There are the two troublesome blocks that need to be changed, just a fabric replacement on one.

I thought I was so smart last week and made the 'd' & 'e' blocks for my ABC's.

Lori H fooled us on Saturday, and said to make the "Apple and Bee" blocks HERE

We had spent the day in Hemiston at a Family History Seminar.
We were an hour closer to where we needed to be Sunday to watch the Zillah Primary Program.
I got part of the Bee cut out at the Hotel where we stayed Saturday night.
I love using my Alphabitties and binder clips.

After a good nights sleep we headed there, enjoyed thier Program,
& then headed back to Walla Walla
I had the assignment to teach Relief Society on Sunday, so...
I bought myself a NEW dress, check out the Posing, lol.
Yea for daughters with Kohl's Coupons who share.
I made Infinity Scarves for my Girls last Christmas.
This one is my Favorite, of course, it's PURPLE and Paisley.
I have a few other ideas to accessorize this dress.
Necklaces and scarves.

Hopefully I can post the Tula Flimsy in time for the OMG this month.
Tula has a NEW Tula Pink ALL - Stars fabric line she's showing at Quilt Market.
Having the wanderlust to go somewhere warm.
DH has a few days left of Vacation this year, Where should we go?

Design Wall Monday -October 23, 2017

Lori a Holt started the Spelling Bee Saturdays HERE.
Last Saturday was the Letter 'C'
I figured I was already 2 weeks behind.
What to do???
I had most of the day to myself.
I got downstairs a cut out a few letters to sew up and Catch-up.

Just had to take a short time to go watch a Grandson play Football.
It was in town, no good excuse to not go.
Thank Goodness, my Son from Kennewick came with his canopy and my daughter had an extra chair.  It was a Rainy day.
This is  the face of Victory! !
It's fun to go and watch them Win!!
Back home after stopping at Stash to take a picture with my Seat mate from the Spokane Quilt Show Bus trip.
I forgot to get one on the Bus.
I almost missed the Bus, Friday.
Grateful there was empty seats in the back of the Bus.
Pictures from the Quilt Show will be in Wednesday's WOW post.

Back home, I  got to work and stitched the Capital letters  A B & C .
Took fun pictures with my Alphabitties and posted them to Instagram.
At my house A- is for Apple, B-is for Blue, & C-is for Candy...

Apple, Red Delicious     Blue, Building Block
Candy, Candy, Candy - Chocolate, of course.
My Halloween candy bite-size bars came in handy.

Design Wall Monday - October 16. 2017

The Month is half over and It's time to get back to my Quilt Zone.
After I get back from Tri-Cities Quilt Guild today.

I got more done on my "Buried Treasure" Quilt at Retreat.
I used the ripper and got the last few blocks put together correctly so I could finish the center part.
I added the light colored inner Border.
I'm auditioning a final border ideas.
Piano Key, Four Patches on Point???

The view on Satuirday Morning was so peaceful.
With the chilly weather today, I wanna go somewhere "beachy".
Dear Hubby, Paul picked the last of our Tomatoes.
I hope they ripen slowly so we get to eat them all.
I might have to try some Green Fried Tomatoes, lol

This sweet lady had a birthday last week.
A drive to watch her youngest Son play Football and delivery of late Birthday gifts happened.
I had to search back to June to remember what I'd made those Birthday girls.
Dusting off the Artista was fun last week.

A picture with Grandpa after the Victorious game.
Good to spend time with these grandchildren on a chilly Saturday in Benton City.

The BYU Dancers came for a performance at Walla Walla High School Saturday evening/.
This is the only picture I got.
The Young man said he started dancing when he was 2 years young.
I tried to get a picture with him but it was just a BLURRY White Spot.
The dresses and outfits were so amazing. Zoom in to see them in the background.
We had a 2nd Row seat!
Sunday they did a Special Fireside and sang for us.
They are off to Olympia today where they will do another Fireside tonight.

My UFO for the Month is this Quilt.
New Year's Reflection
I only need a few more alternate blocks.
Whereever it is, I hope to get to work on it soon.
It's been waiting since 2012, I think...

Design Wall Monday -October 9, 2017

Today I have 4 more finished Blocks from the Shop Hop 2017
Quilting on the Dry Side.
The Janean's Block is reversed because I didn't have enough of the Green fabric.
The Green was supposed to be in the center.

Each shop made blocks for the other shops and shared different layout choices.

I forgot to take a picture at Amelia's Quilt Shop. Her Sample was  set on-Point.
You know how much I like that setting.
We'll have to see how I put mine together.

Linking up with Small Quilts HERE

I only picked up 9 ofthe 12 Blocks.
DH, Paul was kind to drive me to LaGrande for the last 2 on Saturday.
The Mountain road to Tollgate had burned Friday and was closed,
but it was opened up for our drive home.

We got a bit of Rain that I'm sure helped put out the fire.
There were Firefighters still putting out a few on the moutain.

I'm feeling LUCKY!
I ordered a 2018 Calendar and some BLOCK Magazines from Missouri Star Quilt Co.
With my order came this "Golden Star Ticket"
It says I WON a Fat Quarter Bundle worth $75!
I can't wait to see which one they send me.

It's my 1st Daughter by Love's Birthday.
Image may contain: 9 people, people smiling, text
She was the Birthday WINNER from KORD today, too.
Somedays it's good to get up early and make that call to the Radio Station!
I love all the times she has chosen to spend time with me.
We surprised her last year with a Cake on her special Day.
