3rd Grandma day of FUN!

Wednesday G-ma had a little tummy ache (maybe the free hotdog??) Anyway--- Cold cereal and Smoothies for breakfast, then because it was a little cooler after breakfast we talked about what to do...
First project- Decorate the plain shirts that go with their Crazy Shorts.  I had some brush markers I thought would be good, but they were all dried up.  2nd choice was my Bold Pigma Pens I used to use for scrapbooking, LOL. Notice Jared got new blue shorts, the first pair were a bit tight.  He said that pair could go in the dresser in the toy room for grandkids to wear.

Outside in the neighbors yard we saw this Hummingbird.  I gave Jared the camera to sneak up on it and take a picture.  Seth tried too, but the picture didn't turn out.

It was nearly lunchtime and we decided to have lunch at Pioneer Park again.  This time we made PB&Jam and PB&Honey and 1 just honey sandwich to take with us.  Stopped by the Snyder's store for a hostess treat for dessert and a few more bags of chips to go with the leftover ones from the Nat'l Night Out..  

More playing in Pioneer Park.  This bronze statue is fun to climb on and no trip to the Pioneer Park is complete without a little "king of the rock".  Here are 3 up and two wishing they could climb up as easy as their big brothers.  I didn't take pictures of them getting dizzy on the tire swing.  I tried to push them and I got dizzy.  These last  pictures show a bit of personality of the 3 youngest of Milton & Christen's children.

We came home and I rested and read my book.  Jared asked when the new Micheal Vey book is released and started the Walk series by Richard Paul Evans in the meantime. I figured out that I'd turned the thermostat up instead of down, no wonder it was so HOT in the upstairs. A few of them watched a Video and played with Lego's while we read and waited for Grandpa to take them home.
It was fun while it lasted, I'm not complaining!  It reminds why we have our children while we are YOUNG! Thank heaven for Grandpa coming home and taking them on more walks, a visit to the freezer at his work and blackberry picking.  He didn't take the camera with him for those so just imagine the fun and memories made.  The Grandkids all LOVE Grandpa!  I LOVE All 17 of them!!!!   We have had Brant and Tina &  kids, Janessa & her boys and NaDell's kids for short visits this summer. Grandma is getting rested for the next adventures. Dare I ask who is coming next?

Having a "SWEET" time (many Pics)

The Goodson's are in town so we went to the Block Party downtown Monday night to see what was going on.  The boys loved the bounc-y house and the dunk tank.

 Jackson got up really close since he's young.  This was the second guy from the Sweets team to volunteer for the Dunk Tank.  If we had stayed a while longer we would have seen the General Manager get dunked.

Paul and I with Janessa's boys listening to the Live Music at the Block Party.  Sometimes grandpa doesn't wait for me to look a the camera.  And I am usually talking or being distracted anyway with my grandkids.

 After we got home and Grandpa mowed the yard they played with the fat bat and played catch.  It's hard with only one bat and two boys...

Tuesday- JULY 24th

NaDell Drove over from Tri-cities with her 4 children to see her Sister and sons.  No visit is complete without some Pioneer Park time.  

Jacob smiles big on the baby swings.  I can get a good picture as long as MOMMY is nearby. Abigail loves to Swing!  She would have stayed there the whole time if we only had the energy to keep pushing her up high!

Vincent and Jackson up on the ROCK!  Grandpa helped them to get up there.  Scaring this Grandma, but I still had to get a Kodak Moment of it.  The grandkids like to go around and see all of the birds in the Aviary.  The Peacocks are a fun stop along the way.  They screamed at the male one to get him to fluff his tail. I don't know who told them that would work?? 

 Back at Grandpa and Grandma's it is time for Blue Jello Jigglers and Grandpa's "homemade" Sprinkler. Four nozzles for the oldest of the 6 here. Jackson and Vincent came close to tell me they were "all soaking wet!!"

Jacob was afraid of Sweet Lou,but Jackson gave him hugs and poked him in the eye.  Funny to him, not so much for the Sweets Mascot... 

Milton, Christen and their family joined us at the Borleske Stadium for the ALL-STAR Game.  

 Grandma bought some of the BLUE Cotton Candy for the "kids".  I think two bags would have been enough, thinking back.  We were in the "Family Zone".  Sorry to the Guy who sat in front of us...

I brought the 'Bells' I got at an earlier Sweets game to let the kids play with.  A slight distraction and racket for us at the Game.  I told them to ring them when a Bellingham Bells player was up to bat. They even took them down and got them signed by Sweet Lou for me.

 Sweet Lou poses with a few of the little ones.  All Thumbs UP for SWEET LOU! Another lady had them pose for her too. I think her daughter works on the SWEETS crew. The East and West of the WCL played a close game- no score until the 4th inning.  The west WON 3-2.  I think we were rooting for the EAST...

 The oldest Child and Youngest Grandchild of mine!  Nothing like sharing some Family Time at the Baseball Game and there was FIREWORKS too!!!
