Last Summer Fri-Yay

 Lazy Daisy x 2
6" blocks

The blocks are getting done ✔️
A few at a time.
A bit of Quilt Yoga happening again to get a picture with the newest Blocks.

When I make 12" blocks
Sometimes they are harder.
This one was a booger!

Strawberry Jam Jar
Had to make it biggie sized.
Love fussy-cutting when I can!!

Barn Cat
6"
I am loving how each block is a puzzle.
I cut out a few at night so I can stitch them in the morning.

Elder Bailey and Elder Lots
Elder Lots is being transferred to Hermiston.
Bye, for now!

It's a  Christmas in August for us at
Powered by Fabric.
Gotta cut out and sew a few more of the
Evergreen Mystery SAL.

Next week is the Drawing for my 15 Year Blog-O-Versary

Almost a Flimsy - Fri-Yay!

I worked through the whole day on Wednesday  like a Quilting Queen!
(After the Haircut)
But like Potato Chips, I would finish one and had to try to make the next...
NOTE-these photos of the sections are in no particular order.

Puzzles are great to keep a Quilter's mind on task.

Loving all the Different Purples!

This one has a fabrics in it the screams, Look at ME!!!!

Sometimes a colored sashing was added to the section.
Sometimes an added Background was needed.
One of these Blocks was too small.
I didn't check for Errata on the pattern and I didn't want to remake the block.
I just added some coping strips.
I did find a few 16 patch blocks that were too big...
I did use the "Jack" on those and re-sewed them to fit where they went.

It was fun to dig into my Purple stash tote and find just the right thing.

I found a fabric that is close enough for sashing.
I ran out of my Shadow Play, no time to run to the store after Midnight. Or wait for shipping.
I loved the directions to piece the sections together.
Like a great, big puzzle!

9 Sections - all the blocks and sashings put together.
Once I looked at this photo I saw one block turned.
Can you guess which Block is turned wrong?
Easy Fix today.
Then I can put the sections together.

I am so glad when the Bi-monthly instructions said to make X number of Flying Geese,
that I went totally scrappy!
There is an HST and Piano Key Border to make while this marinates awhile.
More scraps leaving the totes.

Great job Quiltmaker Magazine and Denise Starck.
Denise Starck is one of the Staff members of Quiltmaker.
Beautiful Blocks from Bonnie Hunter's ,Addicted to Scraps' column.
I enjoyed my evening of Quilt Yoga while Paul went to the Family History Library.

Mystery Monday Link-up at Quiltville- DWM January 8, 2018

Going back to Friday before the Reveal - Part 6
needed to be Trimmed to size,  mostly just de-dog eared.

The Blocks couldn't be laid out to sew until these were done.
No automatic alt text available.

This was my 1st guess, close but wrong color placement on the corners
and center Flying geese - turned wrong.

My second guess, so close but still NOT it!
Corner units not turned out
Bonnie was so right about there not being many Corals in the fabric library of EQ.
This is from my EQ8 version.

Then it was the Rapid fire clues until the reveal on Monday
 Step 7, 8, 9 and then
Blocks made after all the Meetings and celebrations.
These 2 photos were on Friday's Blog HERE
Here I am sewing Friday at the LQS.
I love that I could go and use the Big table and sew there.
I think this is my Favorite Picture.
I pack a LOT to get my stuff there.
Upstairs isn't easy, but Josh was there to help!
The tables have outlets installed under the blocks.

Parts and Blocks made enough to try the layout.
Then it was back to sewing more Part 3 blocks for the sashings
and cutting for the 2nd half so I could scatter the colors around, Part 7.
I had a Lot of running of the Stairs taking down one row of the sashing down to sew then bring it back up to see how it looked.
Stacked and pinned to Blocks next so I don't mix them all up.
I cut the Brown Corner stones and tiny Triangles (Part 8) on Friday.
I considered using just one fabric for them, then relented and cut up all the fabrics.
The cutting of the Part 9 - the Aqua setting Triangles
The Aqua Triangles are fun to arrange around my half diagonal quilt.
They aren't sewn yet and I need to cut the corners to attach the extra unit 4's in there.

This is how it looked when I had to pick it up for cleaning Saturday night.
The Goal is still to have this corner unit SEWN together at Tuesday Night's Guild Show n Share.
More Quilt Yoga has to happen- - - after my Daughters of Utah Luncheon today.
Linking HERE for Design Wall Monday also.
I told my fellow Quiltvillians to send me a Picture since they weren't able to join me
Sewing at the LQS.
Here is Sarah B's 1st Block

Jan E is still working on her PARTS.
Slow and steady as she goes.
Becky, Mona and Jessica might have something to show for the next link-up.
That's 6 of us working on the Mystery that I know of here in Walla Walla.
Linking up HERE with Bonnie for the Mystery Monday.

Yes that timestamp is correct- I had to stay up to write this post...
Thanks to all who have commented.
I have many Blogging Facebook and Instagram friends who are working on this with us.
Imust say, the quilters showing full tops complete and everything, are not sleeping much.
Thanks to Bonnie!
& Thanks to Jane for the new Zazzle button.
