WOW-Wednesday January 31, 2018

I thought I  had them all fixed!
Good thing I  looked again before adding the borders.
Back to the Ripper again!

I've not felt too good all week.
It was a good time for 2 of my
 Quilty magazines to arrive.
I  hope the end of my sickly days are near!
 What are you working on??
I  got a few more letters cut for my Banner class next week.
Lori keeps sharing more fun mini quilts on her Instagram.

WOW - Wednesday - Wishin for a finish...

I had a great Birthday, full of family and food.
Lots of Birthday Wishes online and on my phone, too.
Image may contain: 2 people, people smiling, eyeglasses and closeup
DD#1 took me to Lunch after Quilt Guild.
Some Bagels in Richland's Uptown Shopping Center.
& Dinner at La Casita with Paul.
Image may contain: 1 person, smiling, hat and food
Had to wear the BIG Sombrero.
Deep fried Ice cream, yummy,.
with a candle to Blow OUT!
So glad there were 61 to blow out.

Paul brought home a German Chocolate cake too.
Thanks goodness we feed the Missionaries tonight so they will help eat this.

My girls gave me gifts.
A Family Tree
 & a T-Shirt that says it all...

Now I'm just Wishin for a Finish!
Almost there...
OH, That Row!!!
I had the sashings wrong all the way across.
I love my Clover White Seam Ripper, BUT this is just too much of it.
I'm Rippin & Stitchin!!
I swear I ripped off those corners at least 4 times,
before realizing it was the whole row above that was messed up.

Leftover parts are all over, but I'm not adding more to this quilt, it needs to be DONE!
Have a Wonderful Wednesday.
I slept in and am getting down to the machine now!

WOW - Wednesday January 10, 2018

I'm still working on the Quiltville Mystery.
"On Ringo Lake"

I got the Corner sewn in time to take to Quilt Guild.
I had to leave early for another Meeting and didn't get to Show it.

I re-arranged the remaining Blocks and if I make it smaller, I'm half done.
I have the pieces to add the Sashings.
I think a Brown Border would be good.
What do my Blogging friends think??

Here are the letters and Picture Blocks so far.

This is all the letters made as of last week.
Lots of e's needed for the Grandchildren's names.

I also worked on a New Project for a Class at Walla Walla Sew n Vac.
I am getting enough ABC's made to spell some things
.I made the extra letters the Exclamation mark and the Heart.
It was fun to find Prints to use in the Heart.
Can you see the "Elvis Presley" autograph??
I can make something for Valentine's Day next month or something for the Quilt Zone.
Practicing the spacing between the letters.
I hope some Quilters sign up for my Classes this year.

It's my Momma's Birthday today!
She would have been 96 had she lived.
40 years gone and I still Miss her!!
Here's a fun Picture of her and Daddy from the Family Slides we found.

Mystery Monday Link-up at Quiltville- DWM January 8, 2018

Going back to Friday before the Reveal - Part 6
needed to be Trimmed to size,  mostly just de-dog eared.

The Blocks couldn't be laid out to sew until these were done.
No automatic alt text available.

This was my 1st guess, close but wrong color placement on the corners
and center Flying geese - turned wrong.

My second guess, so close but still NOT it!
Corner units not turned out
Bonnie was so right about there not being many Corals in the fabric library of EQ.
This is from my EQ8 version.

Then it was the Rapid fire clues until the reveal on Monday
 Step 7, 8, 9 and then
Blocks made after all the Meetings and celebrations.
These 2 photos were on Friday's Blog HERE
Here I am sewing Friday at the LQS.
I love that I could go and use the Big table and sew there.
I think this is my Favorite Picture.
I pack a LOT to get my stuff there.
Upstairs isn't easy, but Josh was there to help!
The tables have outlets installed under the blocks.

Parts and Blocks made enough to try the layout.
Then it was back to sewing more Part 3 blocks for the sashings
and cutting for the 2nd half so I could scatter the colors around, Part 7.
I had a Lot of running of the Stairs taking down one row of the sashing down to sew then bring it back up to see how it looked.
Stacked and pinned to Blocks next so I don't mix them all up.
I cut the Brown Corner stones and tiny Triangles (Part 8) on Friday.
I considered using just one fabric for them, then relented and cut up all the fabrics.
The cutting of the Part 9 - the Aqua setting Triangles
The Aqua Triangles are fun to arrange around my half diagonal quilt.
They aren't sewn yet and I need to cut the corners to attach the extra unit 4's in there.

This is how it looked when I had to pick it up for cleaning Saturday night.
The Goal is still to have this corner unit SEWN together at Tuesday Night's Guild Show n Share.
More Quilt Yoga has to happen- - - after my Daughters of Utah Luncheon today.
Linking HERE for Design Wall Monday also.
I told my fellow Quiltvillians to send me a Picture since they weren't able to join me
Sewing at the LQS.
Here is Sarah B's 1st Block

Jan E is still working on her PARTS.
Slow and steady as she goes.
Becky, Mona and Jessica might have something to show for the next link-up.
That's 6 of us working on the Mystery that I know of here in Walla Walla.
Linking up HERE with Bonnie for the Mystery Monday.

Yes that timestamp is correct- I had to stay up to write this post...
Thanks to all who have commented.
I have many Blogging Facebook and Instagram friends who are working on this with us.
Imust say, the quilters showing full tops complete and everything, are not sleeping much.
Thanks to Bonnie!
& Thanks to Jane for the new Zazzle button.
