May Goal - OMG - WOW Wednesday

I'm trying again to get an OMG Finish this Month.
May hasn't gotten off on a great Start -
NO Stitching has been accomplished as of today.
I'm not even joining the fun with 30 minutes per Day in May crowd.

My OMG and only Goal I'm setting for MAY is:
Quilting and Binding my En Provence, Quiltville Mystery
I made the smaller version and this was taken back in February, on a rare Sunny Day.
Linking up over HERE for my OMG.

Judy L chose #11 for the UFO of the Month HERE.
It's my 30's SBS- 34 more Blocks to make
Ha , That's just not happening.
just 12 to make if I squish them together like this.
It's been in the works since 2009.

Needless to say My Month's Calendar is Over Booked with Other things...
And this is going on over at the Quilty Pleasures Blog
#15 Issue and I had to just go buy my Copy because I haven't had timefor the Blog Tour.

Can You say ... Squirrel?
Judy D has been craving these Caramel M & M's on FB.
I had to go search for some...
Found at the 7-11
That's my WOW for this Wednesday!
YEA, they aren't too bad either, betcha can't eat just one package, lol

It's Baseball  & Track Season!!!
This year I have 5 grandson's playing Baseball and one Granddaughter in Track.
Last Saturday night we stayed in Tri-Cities to watch a game.
It was an extra treat to watch #2 Son help Coach the team.
I missed his great Pitching game the day before.
Grandpa got a little SUN!
Most of the games we've attended in Walla Walla have been Chilly!
I know I'll be missing some games while I'm traveling.
I try to get to at least one or two when I can.

Design Wall Monday - September 3, 2012

I had to see how all of my Sylvia's Bridal Sampler 30's Blocks looked in position. It took two pictures to get the blocks shown.  you can see in the 2nd picture that the K row is complete.Remember there is no G row.  Next is choosing the sashing for this one. I'm up for suggestions...Leave them in the comments, please.

September is NATIONAL SEWING MONTH!
Yet Another reason to love President Ronald Reagan and September! He declared this on my Father's date of Birth in the year my oldest Daughter was born-

On September 21, 1982, at the request of the American Home Sewing & Craft Association, an industry and trade association supporting the sewing and craft industries, President Ronald Reagan, under Proclamation #4976, declared September as National Sewing Month “In recognition of the importance of home sewing to our Nation.”

Judy L chose the UFO for September--UFO #11  That is my BUGGY BARN STARS. I started these at the Royal ridges Retreat a couple years ago.  The fabric is by Pat Sloan.  Bonnie Hunter is celebrating the Month by tracking her sewing time on her Hand Quilting.  You can link up with her HERE.  Bonnie shows her sewing space.  All I dare show is the cutting mat.  My 'Woman Cave' needs some straightening up before I could show more.

I sew and watch TV too. Thanks to my Army Son for letting us Store his BIG Flat screen TV while he is in Cuba.  Today- it's DVR-ed Perception and a little Country Music while I stitch.

I plan to get some more blocks made this month. Maybe even get it to the 'flimsy' stage. Who knows. It's a month full of a Tradeshow, our Walla Walla Valley Quilt Show, Shop Hop and the Birthdays in my family that will necessitate my sewing more Grandchildren's Pillowcases.  August Pillowcases still aren't all delivered, yet.  They would have been on the Design Wall today but I am saving the showing of them until the grandchildren receive them. I don't want to spoil the surprise.
