I Voted & What to Quilt this Week

 The Ballots came for the Primaries.

Lots of choices for Governor. 

We definitely need a New one!!

1st Cucumber is almost ready to pick.

Gladiolus bloom, too early for the Fair!!

We had a get together lunch with family!

Lisa was in town, Her big Sister says,

Gladly!!

We will have to plan a Paul Crowther family 

get-together! 

My quandary this week...

What to Quilt?

I have Sew many in the TBQ tote.

Dare I put my Purple Monster-sized

Purple Jubilee on my Q 20?

I think I will have to do some "frogging"

on it first.

I wore my Pioneer dress yesterday.

A Picnic on Wednesday evening is in the works for our Daughters of Utah Pioneers Camp/Company.  

Should have curled my hair, oh well.

It was Naptime. 

I attended 2 Sacrament meetings plus 

Linger Longer at YSA.

WOW-WEDNESDAY

 The Q-matic is giving me grayer hair, lol.

Bernina Q20 is a whole new system for me to learn.

YouTube and reading and re-reading the manual. 

It took a couple phone calls to Janean.

My phone doesn't work so great in the Basement. 

The Charity Quilt from the Sew-in is done.

But not without some frogging.

Just needs a binding.  

The spacing is an issue,  like on the Betsy.

Q20 doesn't have a name.

Made in Switzerland so I could name her 

something from that country.

What do I try next?

Monday Stitching

 It's ready to use-ALMOST!!

I have a Q-matic Design Lesson scheduled 

for Wednesday. 

I am 4 BINGO blocks ready for Tri-Cities

Quilt Guild. 

I need to bind a Charity Quilt. 

This might be one of the last Charity Quilts

made with this Green fabric. 

I hope to get a chance to get the 

Art N Stitch registered. 

The copy In my Box expired before 

I got it delivered. 

Happy 4th of July

We went to the Sweets Baseball game last night.

There was Fireworks after the game.

Not Victory Fireworks, sadly they lost.

              We had 14 YSA sitting in front of us.

           It was Not planned.

Our Jeffery was born July 6th.

I missed posting Monday and Wednesday. 

Getting ready for the 4th of July Parade. 

I stitched  Pioneer Bonnets for them to wear.

Their Daughters of Utah Pioneers camp marched.

Wow-Wednesday

 We had another Unexpected upgrade...

New vanity in the Upstairs Bathroom. 

We had a Happy Surprize. 

We looked at the vanity sizes at the Home Depot.

The door opens the other way.

Oh well, we're not moving the hinges.

A smaller one meant knees won't hit the vanity.

Paul said we'll just use the old sink. 

Surprise!! The Right sized sink was inside the Heavy Box.

A slow leak took the Pressed wood out.

Look what the Tile was before it got painted over.

Fun Bundle arrived.

Fat Quarters on sale, I didn't resist.

 And a 'Jenny' Apron!

This was my view yesterday.

The new Big Head of my Q 20 is on the carriage.

No power yet.

They put the monitor on too.

It's hard to get a good picture.

I have to find a day for the guys to come back and finish the install.

Dewey is a busy guy.

They just got back from Bernina University

 in Detroit.

No quilting. No problem I have the Embroidery Machine ready to stitch my 4th of July projects.

That's next week!!

Hubby is taking the cardboard to the Recycling.

Monday, Monday

 I Have been kinda grumpy.

So sorry! 

Waiting for deliveries wasn't fun.

I really needed a Sew day with my Quilty Friends.

Saturday was a Charity Sew-in. 

I was up early since DH was taking a Day trip to help transport some Hiking girls.

The guild ladies made up a bunch of kits.

There was a diagram of how the squares

 were to be sewn.

I came out even, no extra squares.

Top two rows are under the needle.

Center done.

Measure twice for borders.

Ta da!

This was a fun diversion.

There were giveaways.

I didn't win this time.

The group decided Eddie needed the last prize. 

Surprize!

And the Blueberries are plentiful! 

Tomorrow is the big day for setting up

The Bernina Q 20.

Right now it's in the Garage. 

7 boxes on a pallet.

I'm up early again!

 A nap is coming later...

Shipment from Chicago.

I may not add the twinkle lights. 

I can make more.

They are from my Hoop Studio subscription. 

I have skipped the next one so I can catch up.

I might regret it, just saying.

FRI-YAY Turned to Fri-Nay

I missed the call I was waiting for...

I was gone all day in Tri-Cities. 

Returned the call too late to get the 

shipment out today.

Sad face 😞 

Last night I put my new Bookcase together.

I filled it up to capacity!

DH says that I have A-LOT of books.

DUH, I have been quilting a long time.

In the process, I found duplicates.

What do I do about that?

I  will save one or two for my Blog-o-Versary.

Maybe donate some to my Quilt guilds.

I almost cleared the space for the 

Bernina Q 20.

It's a Miracle, Truly!

I'm getting on Dewey's calendar.

The waiting is hard...

 

Wow-Wednesday

I'm getting back to Stitching!

But 1st I had to get this shelf dusted and rearranged.

This window is now above my Sewing area in 

That corner we just fixed.

I haven't got to stitch on my purple Bernina

 since I took it for a Spa Day.

I put my Quilted "ME" on the Wall.

I had it made back in 2011

The lady I paid to make it has passed

 away since then 😞.

Here's mine with Lynn, my Quilt Buddy.

I had one made for her, too. 

It was a Happy day when I finally got to share it.

It took awhile but the Embroidery Machine is now in the basement. 

Found a space big enough to put the machine 

and a few of the things that help me make the

 fun Kimberbell stuff.

It's time for What's new Wednesday.

Missed Monday last week...

 I missed a Monday!

I stitched this on Tuesday.

Gave it to My Daughter-by Love  Kori.

The roses were affected by the wind. 

So I cut a Bouquet. 

Thursday Morning we met at IHOP in Pasco with the Butlers.

We were happy to find a time that worked for them.  They were kept busy Laying sod an helping Carol get ready for the Graduation party.

We found a mess in the corner of the basement by the Laundry room. 

That meant losing my Thread case and a Bookcase that held notebooks of patterns. 

The Bottom shelf was mostly a Loss!

Here's DH breaking down the Thread cabinet. 

I bought it when our Hancocks closed. 

That was 17 years ago.

Friday night we got to go to the 1st Home Game of our Beloved Sweets Baseball team. 

Paul painting baseboards while waiting for the mud to dry on the sheet rock we replaced.
