Finally Fri-Yay!

NaDell and Andy have been waiting for this Quilt.
It was such fun to Surprise her at the Airport tonight.
She's been in Salt Lake City all week.
I had to wait until she got home.
We were on our way home when her flight was landing so I texted her.
Meet you at the Airport, lol!!
It's not every day I can surprise her.

I took her picture so she took ours...

It took over a year to get it Finished.
The most time consuming was getting the titles
Machine Embroidered on the books.
They gave me lots of good Book titles to choose.
I had to ask for a few more as the Quilt grew bigger.
I started it the 21 of June, 2022 HERE
The Red Rose is from Jackie Robinson's Roses Stash.
Now, I need to make one for myself! hahaha!

WOW-WEDNESDAY - Wedding Quilt -ready for the Quilting

Lexi and Jared's Wedding Quilt
It's got all the borders on!
I  love it Sew Much!
The striped inner border fabric
will also be the binding.
It all started with these blocks April 30.
I had to unsew part of the lighter blocks as needed for the assembly of the pattern.
My Quilt Buddy,  Lynn showed me this pattern and I ordered it from Amazon.
A lot of 2 1/2" squares were used.
Just the extra outer borders were done with the strips.
These strips helped enlarge it to Queen size.
When I shared it at Quilt Guild,  another friend showed me a picture of her version on her Design Wall.

Monday -Designing a Special Quilt

It's time to get working on a
Wedding Quilt.
I didn't think I had Grandchild old enough.
But, it is happening!
I found my Blue Roses Stash
 by Jackie Robinson.
I think some on the left will work.
I have a creamy Background of Roses for the Background.

My Humble Quilts Doll Quilt Swap partner sent this cute Pinwheel quilt.
This Swap is a favorite!
Happy Monday!!

I will have to spend a few evenings hand stitching the binding down.
I'm going to use the green from the backing, I think.
