1st Friday September-OMG

I knew I loved September!

I had 2 Babies in the Month. 

I Celebrate my Daddy's Birthday later too.

And there's always the Walla Walla Quilt Festival to attend.

My Challenge quilt didn't get finished, but I  had fun with the Tula fabric to make my Challenge Block.

I will share it next week. 

I always have good intentions to get something finished every month.

My OMGs and UFOs aren't doing great.

My OMG/UFO for September is the Pat Sloan BOM from last year "Let's Go Camping"

I think I can get it to a flimsy.

I have another block or 2 to make.

Design Wall /Floor Monday - Quilt Yoga

It's the last week of September...

Quilt Yoga time on my Floor

with my September OMG! 

A lost enough blocks to finish 3

Sides of the Border. 

I did the un-stitching and fixed the corners on the blocks at the Sew-in. 

By my count, I need 10 more blocks.

7 Blue & 3 Tan

Then I can decide on the Corners.

 What about a curve???

It will need some extra strips to fit.

The secret project is going in the Mail today, Hurray!!

I  practiced the binding on a scrap, before actually on the quilt.

I did it, but it's not my preferred method.

September OMG & UFO

My September OMG is this Quilt!

 

It's the same as last month.

Today is the last day to Link-up HERE.

I did have a finish or 2 or 3 in August.

Just not the one I linked. 

Today is also a Sew-in Day.

That means 'Tiara Time'

 It doesn't start until Noon! 

I  can get some un-stitching done on those blocks that need the Corners changed.

Then get the borders added. 

There's binding to go on a Special Quilt,too.

In- Person delivery happening soon.

Judy L chose #11 for September's UFO.
Fitting for this next week's anniversary.
I finished #11, so I'm going back to #4. Which coincidentally is my OMG.

WOW - Wednesday - September OMG

I started my Quilt Festival Challenge while at the Fair. 

 The idea has been formulating in my head.

 I have to just stitch it together and Quilt it before Saturday.

LOL- No Pictures til Next Week. I like it!

OMG for September will be my 

Tula Pink City Sampler

I got some more sashings sewed on, then I can put it all together.

A Flimsy is the Goal.

To help get it done, we have a Quilt Guild SEW-in this Weekend.

It's National Sewing Month!

The Smoke outside has thickened from Fires down the Gorge.

My eyes burn when I try to go out and get a Tomato or throw out trash.

I'm trying to stay INSIDE and SEW.

We had to move our planned Lacey Lacers Picnic indoors to our Regular location.

My Superintendant choice in the Youth Quilts was my Quilt Buddies DGD.

She made a cute Row by Row. (picture borrowed from FB)

The Adult Ribbon went to a Ouilt of Valor.

September OMG Link-up!

I don't usually Post on Saturday...

I am so Excited that My OMG is Finished!

I put the Windy City Stars on the Quilting Table Friday.

I posted in IG & FB to asked opinions for which Thread to use.

I love Quilting by Committee!

The Verigated King Tut in the center won out and I used the slightly Pink one (Linen) for the Bobbin.

Quilting design is "Rose Garden"

(one of the patterns that came with my Quilt Sew Clever)

The thread blended into the Cream colored fabrics very well.

It is DARK outside so I had to take the Picture on this Freshly Changed Bed.

My Diamond Jubilee Dash Quilt came home so I wanted it on the Bed.

Pardon the Boxes in the corner.

Next up to be Quilted will be My Farmer's Wife or Allietare...
