Wow-Wednesday

Yesterday I took my long awaited Double Wedding Ring Quilt to Eddie's to see how I can get it
 to the finished line.
It was decided, make 4 more rings.
I needed 16 blocks.

Some of these are not like the other.
Wow, I tried to steam them into submission.
They curl up and won't lay flat.
Even Eddie tried.
We found that I had mis- cut  the outer pieces.
Gotta re- cut... I was using the Pickle Dish template.
Now it is labeled!

We had Quilt Guild last night.
I fell asleep and almost missed it.
A few Quilters brought their blocks for Julia.
They are due by November.
Good job ladies!

This weekend is the Spokane Quilt Show
WQS and I get to go!

It's FriYay!

I had some other things I stitched in the Mountains.
Finally unloaded the car.
These blocks were found while looking for something else.
They are for the Comfort Quilt by Amy Ellis.
I sewed them all together.
First the bigger blocks  were on the Design Wall.
It was still in my car from Stay Home Retreat.
Maybe it will be a baby Quilt.
Just needs a border when I  decide blue Pink or yellow or green.

The tiny blocks could make a Mini quilt.
I need more minis to hang on my door.

I came home to boxes!
Perfectly Pieced,
My Girlfriends Quilt Shoppe
And my Purchases from Missouri Star Quilt Company last week.
That was fast!

We served in the Temple again.
It's a nice reprieve from the World.
Wearing my favorite Sweet Salt dress.

Happy FriYay,  I think I might go downstairs and Quilt something.

Wow- Wednesday catch up

Home from a 3 day two night campus with
my Quilty Friends.
The moon came out over the Mountains.

And so did the DEER!

Our Magical flames.

Their afternoon stroll.

Kay is shooing them off on our way to
brush our teeth.

After dinner.

We enjoyed the campfire every night.

Eddie, stitching her Kimberbell fabrics from MSQC.
Can hardly wait until Black Friday!

The busy Quilters before I had to leave.
3 days with no showers is no fun.

I finally started stitching hexie letters.

I work on an old UFO too.
Came home to check the pattern.

This is an iconic wall for a picture.
Shorty me for scale.

I collected a few more Ducks for my collection.
Cute ones from the Stitchen Stampede
at the Birthday Bash.
I got some Kona White for Lynn.
The other fabric wasn't in any of their stores.
It's a Robert Kaufman  from the
 Windowsill Garden line.
Item called Pond

On the way out we went to Jamesport for lunch.
Then we went to Adam-ondi-Aman.
Nice Panoramic view.
We drove up to the Tower Hill.

Lastly we went to Liberty to find

Wow-Wednesday Nebraska and Iowa

My how things have changed since we served our Mission at the Mormon Trail Center
and Kanesville Tabernacle.
New signs.
Moved the Pioneer statue.

I got to Visit my Quilts!
This one I made while there.
A replica of one worn this above the beds
in the cabin

This one I finished at home with my Sister.
I wondered where it was.
It was under the other one. Yea!
We met the new FM's
This one is on top now for those who visit.
.
This is the Cradle Quilt and pillow I made.

I was able to see where they put the BIG picture
that we moved out of the Tabernacle.

And the Piano...
I am relieved they are still there.
I forgot to take a picture of Star and Bright.

So good to walk again where my Pioneers walked.
I left a part of My heart there.

Got my Christy Creme too!
Flavor of the day - Orange!

Whacha doing Wednesday??
