Monday- Month and Year Ending

I have a lot of thoughts about 2024.
It was not the best year for me Quilting wise.
I didn't have as many Finishes as I would have liked.
Many of my finishes were embroidery Projects, quickly made.
I still have many more embroidery projects that didn't get done.

Mystery FriYay! And More Christmas.

Our family spoiled us again!
We thought the new bed was our Christmas.
We stopped to pick up gifts from
Joe and NaDell's families on the way home
from the Temple last night.
Who told them I love these two
Washington made products?

Pictures are always a welcome gift!!

When the Nativities come down the family
 pictures go back up.
Love this Mariner loving family photo.
Including the frame makes my life easy!

NaDell gave us a new collage to fill.

Maybe by my Birthday i can collect more fun family photos to fill it.

A new Nativity ornament while the tree is still up.
                             And it lights up!

I got the recipe for the lip licking good orange cream truffles made by Christen.
Gotta go get more ingredients to make some.

We get to use the part 3 Hourglass units to make some assembly of our final reveal.
I got part 7 printed out

Going back to sleep now...
I have nothing on my calendar but Mystery stitching on these FriYays!
Go HERE  for the instructions.

Merry Christmas- Wow

I had to find a Way Back Wednesday Picture.
Christmas 1960's
The year my sister got her Bride doll

Our Neice Sarah and her family came to see her mom and dad for Christmas Dinner.
I said let's go for a ride.

My Sister and I!
I'm still the little sister!

Our only company at our house was the Goodsons.
I told Janessa we needed a picture.
Thanks for taking it!

My friend Shelly found a new doll for me.
She delivered it on Christmas Eve.

My biggest surprise today.
I saw one on our shop hop.
Didn't think she'd find me one.
John Wayne Doll added to my collection.

Our #2 Daughter helped her dad shop for a new set
Of Salt and Pepper Grinders
Never had a salt grinder.

These kept multiplying under the tree.
I might have to share...

I put my New sewing machine together.
The hand wheel rotates. Sew fun with Chuck the Duck on it.
We have been finding the duck all month.

Jenny Box Day 24

Day 25
I can't wait to see what Jenny and her crew
 find for 2025.
Hubby will miss his daily gift unwrapping.

Paul opening his day 25 gift.

I took a Panorama shot of the room
 this morning- wow

The tree on Christmas Eve

I made the 1 hour Cinnamon rolls.
Smallest Candy cane bread, lol

I had a bit left over after making this pan full.
So yummy!
I had to eat one hot out of the oven.
Cream cheese Frosting, oh my goodness!
Hope you all had a Merry Christmas.

Even the box is cute.

Day 22

Day 23
Opps,  it's upside-down.

Jenny saved one of Best gifts for last.
We just had to wait for Day 23.
A 3rd cup to match the plates.

Here it my Box village with the advent calendar, plates and cups.
Plates and countdown calendar from previous Jenny boxes.

I added garland down the stairs they
 lead to the tree.
Hubby is not a fan of me covering the railing.

Merry Christmas Sunday!
My green dress was found in the back of my closet.

Bonnie woke us up with a surprise part 6.
More HSTs in a different color way.

to take our picture.
It has been tucked into our Christmas cards.
They're late in the mailing.
No long travelog to read, no chronicle
of 2024 activities.
Paul addressed the envelopes.

This was waiting for me when I got home from my marathon trip to Tri-Cities Quilt Guild.
Thank you, Janet O!
I had to open it. Needed more soap!
To answer her Question
There are 68 Nativities up
& 66 Nativity Ornaments on the tree this year.

We had our YSA White Elephant gift exchange.
Have you ever seen a Christmas Rooster 🐓?
It was alive!!!
There was a Rudolf Onesie, a Massaging moose, and a gift wrapped as a
toaster including the bread and Useless cord to plug it in.
We love their creativity.
I made caramel corn.
