Design Wall Monday - July Goals

It's a New Month!!
The year is halfway over and my UFO List is growing instead of diminishing.
Oh Well, I am still having FUN, right??
On my Design Wall/ Floor this week---
Linking up HERE  & HERE
No sashings or borders yet.
Still hoping for a couple more
 block patterns in the mail.
This is my July Goal- OMG
The past 2 years I have turned my quilt in on July 31st.
I want to get it finished & turned in before
GRANDMA'S QUILT  CAMP.
I picked up one more in Tri-Cities at
Fabric 108.
It's a different size.
I made my Spelling Bee Saturday
Numbers 6 & 7
Had to see if I could count my colored pins.
Reverse the numbers and say
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE USA!!

Friday - Housekeeping

After reading Quilt Shop Gal's Blog HERE  (it's well worth reading)
I have added a new TAB at the top of my Blog.

Some days you just have to do a Good Deed.
I broke the cardinal rule of Quilter's and did some alterations and hemmed some pants.
That meant I had to dust off my SERGER.

I have many spools to change the Color of Thread.
I'm glad I know how to do that easily.

I delivered the suit I altered on Tuesday.
While I was down in the Quilt Zone this week, I stitched the Upper case Letters X &Y

No automatic alt text available.
I'm ready for whatever Letter or Picture Lori Holt shares tomorrow.

I haven't shared the pictures of all my goodies from Quilt Market.
I will do that another day.

I recently picked up my 125th Anniversary Bernina Golden Foot at STASH.
It came with a spool of "GOLD" Aurifil Thread
It fits on both of my Bernina's

The bright light doesn't show it well on the Artista.

"Betsy" and the D9P Variation are calling my name today.
It's time to getter-done...

Design Wall Monday - February 12, 2018

It's Abraham Lincoln's Birthday!!
Not Presidents Day.
I stitched all day Saturday working on
my Spelling Bee Saturday blocks.
I made a total of 27!

That's about a full alphabet, wow.
I can cut out a Bunch while I watch the Olympics, I found.
Cut and Stack them between the pages of the Spelling Bee Book.
I want to do the Bake Sale SAL too, but there is no Time!!!

And The Tutorial from Missouri Star Quilt Company called to me!
HERE is the Link.

Made from 10" Squares!
I cut my own and it was a fun set of Blocks to make.
Wouldn't it be cute on a Table for  Valentines!???

It's a Busy week, so I knew if I didn't put the Pedal to the Metal on Saturday
this wouldn't be ready to show at Guild tomorrow.
This is a sneak Peek!
Come back Wednesday to see the full project flimsy.
If I'm lucky, it might be Quilted.

Linking up HERE for Design Wall Monday.

This happenened on Sunday!

Our 10 year old Grandson who lives in Walla Walla performed at Cordiner Hall
with the Walla Walla Symphony and Wa-High Drumline.
"Orchestra Rocks"
He is a 5th Grader and what a priviledge it is to play at this famous Hall.
He got a little distracted.
I took the smaller pictures of him waiting to play.
He even got caught reading his book, lol
Many faces of Jackson...
Next year it will be "Orchestra Swings"
I am so glad to be able to watch the Grandchildren who live close when they are Performing.
It's the most fun part of being Grandma right now.
Even if it makes Grandma Tired...from Too much Fun!
Are you watching the Olympics???
I am trying to in my Spare time...

WOW - Wednesday January 10, 2018

I'm still working on the Quiltville Mystery.
"On Ringo Lake"

I got the Corner sewn in time to take to Quilt Guild.
I had to leave early for another Meeting and didn't get to Show it.

I re-arranged the remaining Blocks and if I make it smaller, I'm half done.
I have the pieces to add the Sashings.
I think a Brown Border would be good.
What do my Blogging friends think??

Here are the letters and Picture Blocks so far.

This is all the letters made as of last week.
Lots of e's needed for the Grandchildren's names.

I also worked on a New Project for a Class at Walla Walla Sew n Vac.
I am getting enough ABC's made to spell some things
.I made the extra letters the Exclamation mark and the Heart.
It was fun to find Prints to use in the Heart.
Can you see the "Elvis Presley" autograph??
I can make something for Valentine's Day next month or something for the Quilt Zone.
Practicing the spacing between the letters.
I hope some Quilters sign up for my Classes this year.

It's my Momma's Birthday today!
She would have been 96 had she lived.
40 years gone and I still Miss her!!
Here's a fun Picture of her and Daddy from the Family Slides we found.
On thier 25th Wedding Anniversary in 1963
