WOW-WEDNESDAY more ABC'S

I'm sorry I haven't had the chance to get my OMG on the Quilt Table this Busy May for Me Month.
I have made progress on the many ABC LETTERS  I need to start playing with my Scrabble quilt at Retreat soon.

I shared a few R's on QuiltCam last night before heading off to watch a Baseball game here in Walla Walla.
They Won!!
It's almost 'Sweets' game time.
My daughter and her MIL are both hosting guys from the team.

Monday was a Big day for Traveling to honor our parents.
Long Drives make me Hurt, but I just plan a 'Rest day' after.
This happened...
Sonia brought her ♡ Quilt so I could get a picture of her with it.
Lucky to also see and visit with these girls from our Younger days in Moses Lake 2nd Ward. There were 7 of us. Missing a few.
I visited with my across the street Neighbors too, (no picture).
On the way out of town Paul said, "Let's go see your Brother. "
It took a bit to find the right place.
Got a picture with my only Brother, the oldest of our Family.
He has a big Birthday in June.
We asked him how old he'll be, lol.
He said 60. Made me laugh, because I am 61. So he can't be 60.
He's 16 years older than me.
Then I asked if we could drive by Palouse Falls. I have not been there that I can remember.
The water was very muddy coming over, but can you see the Rainbow??
Who knows how long we will be able to get this close?  News says people want to close it because of  the accidental deaths recently.
It makes me sad.
I'm  happy to stay on this side of the Falls and see the Beauty of it all.
I can endure the ride better with my neck pillow. So I will travel and see all I can while I can.
So much more to share in the coming days.
I am 'getting ambivalent feelings' again with our 1st Grandson Graduation.
So many feelings!!!

Friday- Play-Day

It's the Friday before my Birthday.
Tomorrow is #SpellingBeeSaturday.
I  have had way too much fun making these Bee in my Bonnet letters.
No automatic alt text available.

 40 of the 87
(some of them aren't needed for the Grandchildren crossword Quilt)

My Class at Walla Walla Sew, Vac & Spas is going to be SEW FUN!
I need more pictures and a Sign to advertise the class.
These letters are very addictive.
They do take a bit of time to cut out, but stitch up easy.
Come to Walla Walla and sew with me!
Dates:  February 9 & 16 10am-3pm
March 28 5-8:30pm
Bring a Lunch or snack if desired.

The scraps are for a SWAP I'm doing next week with SylviaR and Wendy T.
Excited to spend some Friend-time with them.

I'm getting ready for February.
I put up my "sweethearts" pictures in the Bookcase.
Top Shelf- ancestors and us.
Bottom Shelf - our Children with their Sweethearts,
Vintage Houses and the Willow Tree figures that were gifted to me
The table runner is from a Class at Hancock Fabric's

AND changed the Dolly's in the Curio.
I am a Collector!

Have a Great 3-Day Weekend.

WOW - Wednesday January 10, 2018

I'm still working on the Quiltville Mystery.
"On Ringo Lake"

I got the Corner sewn in time to take to Quilt Guild.
I had to leave early for another Meeting and didn't get to Show it.

I re-arranged the remaining Blocks and if I make it smaller, I'm half done.
I have the pieces to add the Sashings.
I think a Brown Border would be good.
What do my Blogging friends think??

Here are the letters and Picture Blocks so far.

This is all the letters made as of last week.
Lots of e's needed for the Grandchildren's names.

I also worked on a New Project for a Class at Walla Walla Sew n Vac.
I am getting enough ABC's made to spell some things
.I made the extra letters the Exclamation mark and the Heart.
It was fun to find Prints to use in the Heart.
Can you see the "Elvis Presley" autograph??
I can make something for Valentine's Day next month or something for the Quilt Zone.
Practicing the spacing between the letters.
I hope some Quilters sign up for my Classes this year.

It's my Momma's Birthday today!
She would have been 96 had she lived.
40 years gone and I still Miss her!!
Here's a fun Picture of her and Daddy from the Family Slides we found.
On thier 25th Wedding Anniversary in 1963
