WOW-WEDNESDAY

It's true what is said about the younger generation.
My eldest Granddaughter came to work on
my Bernina Q20 today.
She's a Wiz!
It took a bit of troubleshooting but we did get one quilt all done, except for the trimming and binding.

Look how happy she is to finish something!!

Full photos later.
This is the Block by Block pattern she used.

I also did some Embroidery!

So it was a Wow Day!

2nd Monday of December

I haven't had time to stitch much since I put borders on KD's quilt.
It was a Busy weekend.

Friday night we went to watch our YSA
Sisters in the play in Dayton.
No photos allowed.

Saturday afternoon
We enjoyed watching Abby in the Amplify
Show at Kennewick High School.

We were close to the front so I could get a picture.

And in the Evening
Katie sang her 1st Solo in the Winter Gala
For her singing group VIBE
Joe got two tables for her cheering section.
We ate some yummy cake after bidding
 in the Cake Run.
It was a Vibe fundraising event.

I need to finish Parts 1-3 of the Old Town Mystery.
Go HERE to get the parts.

From the Jenny Box openings.
Day 7
Home Depot card and a Charm Pack.
That means a pattern tomorrow to use the charms.

Day 8
A Hexie Clutch pattern for me and a
shirt and Truffles for Paul.

We haven't opened Day 9 yet.
I did watch the videos of Jenny and Ron opening so                        I know what day 9 gift is.

It's a Daughters of Utah Pioneers day.
Hope you get some stitches in!

It's a Flimsy Fri-Yay!

I have places to be, go and do.
This Quilt needs to get to its owner soon.
Sewed the Borders on this morning so I can
Quilt it when I get home.
KD chose one that wasn't finished.
Blog-o-Borders with a tiny Cornerstone on the
inner border.
Confetti fabric by Kimberbell!
67"×58"

Day 4 opened
Sew much fun!
The projects have to wait for a week of
No appointments.
I already have the Cottage Stars pattern
I could maybe get a Table Runner done
during the holidays.

Day 5 opened early before Temple Day
Treats for my Paul and Quilt hangers for a
 Honey-do project.

I'm up early so day 6 is open.
A Clapper that works double as a template
and bobbin holder.
Travel sized lotion and cleanser for Hubby.
So fun to see Jenny and Ron in 70's long hair
and peace signs!

What will Day 7 be??
Are you playing along?
I'm so glad I got stuff for my Hubby to
open each day in December.
He reminds me it's time!

Wow-Wednesday -December is busy!!

My Jenny Box is so fun this year!
Lots of crafty things stuffed inside each package.
A Fabric card making kit for me, Lip balm
for the Hubby. He ran out and said something last Saturday morning. So I picked it up for Day one!

Day 2
Cute embellishments for the fabric cards and gift card holders.  Even a few Chuck the Ducks to make something cute.
My wheels are turning.
Courteney, the elf had a cute video for this one.
Just had to click on the Featured link on the Christmas box FB page.

Day 3
Oh so cutecups to use like the food channel.
I can measure with my Heart, like the
Midwestern Mom does.
The recipe card was hidden in the side of the box.
Sneaky!! Gotta find Everthing then save the Boxes for a cute village.
Hubby's Day 3 was a December Reader's Digest.

On the Jenny Box page I can only post from
the day before.
So I won't spoil anyone's fun.

I spent Tuesday stitching and pressing my
Flying Geese for Old Town Mystery.
I loved cutting them out with Bonnie's ETT.
(Essential Triangle Tool)
Pressing the way Bonnie instructed for less bulk.

Part Two was cut and sewn.
Tiny 4-patches will be made from my Purple.
(Bonnie's Red)
Love it! We get to spin the seams on the back this year!

We put up our outdoor Nativity and a few lights.
The Tree goes up next week.

It was a sad Goodbye on Monday.
Sorry they had cancelled flights.
They did make it home on a different route.
We loved having them here.
Photo after our Blueberry Granola
Waffle and Bacon breakfast.
I almost forgot, Cheyanne was in the car and I hurried to get my selfie stick.

Hubby used my Cart for gathering leaves.

Our Sunday Photo before Church.

I lined up the YSA before we let them eat.
Many are headed to school!
We're going to miss them!

A Sunday Dinner is set.
Momma's lace table cloth.
Siver Set from Sheila.
Correlle plates from Paul in the late 1980's.
Glasses bought with trees eched on them, don't remember the year.
I didn't get a picture of our guests.
Used my cloth Napkins that I embroidered
 a couple years ago.
The lamb napkin holders are from 1992.

It's the 4th Day of December.
I have just a few Nativity set up.
The Walla Walla Stake is hosting a Nativity Display.
It's on a busy Saturday for me.
I might take a few over and set them up.

Monday- withdrawals from family time...

It has been a dream to see my Quilts
on the pews at Church.
I loaded as many as would fit in the trunk
of our car.
That took some time all week.
I used my wagon to get them inside.

NaDell took this photo with me there in the Chapel.

We met at NaDell’s & Andy's building on
Saturday evening.
All of Family was there except 3.
2 Missionary Grandchildren and Ben in Ohio.

The best part was Giving them away.

I've had to store and move them so many times.
I decided that my family needed to enjoy them
 while I'm still here.
It was more fun to see who chose what Quilt.
I had Numbers to use but decided it was easier
to just let them choose.
I took as many pictures as I could.
Wish I would have handed off the camera.
I missed a few and had to get them to
take a picture later. Oops.

I  had a couple that needed to be delivered.
Made specifically for them.
I only got a picture of the youngest...
She's 5 months old already.
Great Grandma is slow getting her quilt to her.

Only one chose a flimsy that i need to finish.
That's on the agenda this week.
KD kinda likes Pink!

This morning we got to have Cheyanne and Jeff over for Bluberry Granola Waffles  and Bacon!
Almost forgot to get a picture with them
at the house.
It's been 20 years since we had Jeffery
home for Thanksgiving.
Thanks for coming!

Happy Fri-Yay!

It was a different way to celebrate Thanksgiving.
We watched for the arrival of our 2 Far-away sons.
I joked and said the driving one might get here before the flying one.
That's how it was!
We went to the China Cafe in the Plaza.
My Daughter-by Love took the photo.

On the way back to the house we stopped by
Pioneer Park.

The crooked branch was the spot for my Photo op!
I haven't seen my Son who flew yet!
They took a detour on the way from the
Airport in Pasco.

I still can make a Lemon Meringue pie.

These jumped in my basket at the Grocery store.
Hadn't seen them since 2018.
Now they're frosted!

Go HERE for part 2 of the Quiltville Mystery.

Happy Fri-Yay!
