WOW - Wednesday

Last Wednesday and the Month is nearly over.
I had a fun time at the Birthday Bash those Pictures are in the last post.

We enjoyed going to Museums with
 Jeffery and Cheyanne.
Our Trip to Hamilton ended at the
Hamilton Quilt Museum.
I missed seeing it when we were in Missouri
 almost 2 years ago.
So many Quilts, Toy Machines, Thimbles,
and Older machines.
The Big Aurifil Spool was there.

And a Limo covered with Quilt blocks

The Toy Sewing Machines

Nativity of Thimbles

Shelf after shelf of Thimbles...

The Einstein (Pixel) Quilt and room

Doll beds and Dresses room

The Doll Beds and Dressers with Miniature Quilts them - made by Pat Kuhns
20 Years of making them.

This room had some of Jenny Doan's Quilts.
Every room made you stop and say AWE!!!
These were Old Quilts.

These Quilt Tops on the pews were for Sale! $175.00

 Next day was Sunday!
The World War 1 Museum was very informative.
This Quilt was one made with the names of Gold Star Heros embroidered on.
I didn't take pictures of the Trenches and Cannons.

These tiny Planes hanging represent the Pilots many trips to airlift supplies after the War.

The story of the Candy Bomber is familiar to us.
LT Gail S Halverson was a Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

We weren't going to go up the Memorial Tower,
but we did go back and add that ticket to our Museum pass.
It taller than the Statue of Liberty
This was the Panoramic View of Kansas City from the Top

Chey didn't get to come and asked for a photo of us by the Tower.
I can't believe I did it.

We felt that Visiting with our son in a place of Remembrance was ok for a Sunday.
We visited the grounds of the Kansas City Temple

He took our picture there.

Still a little Jet Lagged.
But it's only 2 hours difference.

What are you working on today?
I have a project to finish for
Sister Bennett's late Birthday!
I have procrastinated it almost too long.
