It's a FriYay!

Abby's Quilt got the Frosting on it!
She asked for Dragonfly design,
I didn't have one, so she got Butterflies.
She used a Jelly roll of pretty purples & light greens
She wanted just a white border.
Set squares on point.
That border was tricky to put on.
It needs the binding and a label.
Ready for the Quilt Show!
✔️  Check!

I need to quilt a few more and work on my
 RWB Challenge.

But the RBD Block Challenge Blocks were calling.

We had a 'Culture' night at YSA
I found my Memories book and Nebraska Rock that Sister Armstrong gave me when we left.
The treat was Pretzels and Peanut M&Ms
I found 2 Australia cloths and took Paul's Mission Journals.
I had him tell them what is a Prang, Barney, napkin, and he shared what he spent daily on his Mission.
 He kept a record.

Not much stitching happened.
I will remedy that after I Ice my back.

Monday- Birthday Month

 It's my Birthday Month.
Yes it's not just a one day Celebration
for me this year.
I have Plans, each day I can, I will be stitching!
Today is a day at Eddie's - Powered by Fabric.
We'll Celebrate January Birthdays.

I need her big wall to decide where to take rows off to go on the top of my sister's DWR.
I think that the easiest place to add a row or two.

It hung over way far on both sides of her bed.
It was barely long enough to cover vertically.
I got some more Shadow play for background.
That is, if I need to make more blocks.
I'm gonna try to use what's extra as far as I can.
It's been a long time in the making!
Almost 12 years.
So glad I set it on point finally to get those
scallopped edges.
The smile on her face spoke volumes!

Hey Janet O, this is the one I brought home.
It had to be Purple!

I will work on the Lupine and Laughter Mystery
parts 3, 4 and 6, 7 also.
Part 5 is done.
Will we get the reveal for my Birthday week?
Wait and see!

How's your New Year stitching plan going?

Happy FriYay

It's FriYay!
I posted on my Social Media how I spent my
New Years Eve.
Donny asked What are you doing New Years Eve? Well, I went Quiltin'
Thanks to all who took time to get together at Powered by Fabric. So much better than staying home watching the Ball drop in NYC and
 Nashville by myself.
We had some fun Swapping Pin Cushions and stitching into 2026.
The Purple one in the lower right corner
 came home with me.

These are the Cut-offs from my Woven Diamonds.

The borders were inspired by an Antique Quilt that I saw in Iowa back in 2021.

It took some sorting and OCD-ness, but I got it figured out.
I got one more Quilt top done & off the UFO list.
Woven Diamonds
