Another Month Gone Bye!

I never did find my OMG & UFO #31 this month

But I did find some Siggy Squares and made 2 of the 3 Blocks needed to finish.

I'm counting it!

March Goal's

1- Make Pat Sloan's 3 NEW BOM Blocks - DONE

2- Finish Tri-City Quilter's Crayon Challenge DONE

3- Border on Guild 2016 BOM  DONE

4- Team Colors - Sample Not Done

5- Make 3 more Siggie and 4-patch blocks - OMG FLIMSY- Made 2

6- Quilt - Farm Girl Vintage  DONE

    

Block 1 was based off Mother Goose Rhymes

Block 2 was based off Curious George

Block 3 was based off Poky Little Puppy

I'm using all SCRAPS for mine again this year

WOW - Wednesday - WOW Quilts at the Show

I took a Lot of Pictures at the Tri-City Quilter's Show before my phone died.

I didn't want to miss posting them for your viewing enjoyment.

Especially for those who missed the show.

Color Story Winning Quilts were WOW!!!

I saw several people just stop and stare at this one!

The quilting on it is stunning too.

 She's been a quilter 35 years, moved to Tri-Cities just a few years ago.

I'm so glad I got to see Her work up close.

My Quilts pale in comparison...

I'm still in AWE of all the Beautiful Quilts I saw.

So much Eye Candy And Inspiration!!

My Design Wall hasn't changed because it was "Quilt Show Week"

So... I'll share some of the Quilts I saw and my own that were on Display.

Sunday's #igquiltfest prompt was Favorite Finish.

This is what I wrote-

Choosing a Favorite Finish is almost like choosing a Favorite Child. I have to choose this recent finish that i had in the 2017 Tri-City Quilters Show. I was very Surprised to find a BIg Ribbon on it yesterday from the Quilt Show Chair. Made with my Favorite 30's Stash with over 1,600 tiny pieces. Thank you @beelori1 for the cute pattern book and extra patterns offered during the Sew-along #farmgirlvintage #fqsfun💟 . I truly made it my own quilt. #favoritefinish #igquiltfest@amyscreativeside

Here's the BIG Ribbon!

I have received a few other Ribbons in my Quilting Life.

One from my PEERS is a Treasure.

I'm so glad I joined the Tri-City Guild last year.

It was fun to be a part of the excitement and help with Admissions, White Glove & Greeting.

Because I was there early- before there were lots of people looking around,

I was able to get better pictures of my Quilts.

I'll share more Wednesday.

Tri-Cities Quilt Show Day 1

Today is the first day of the Tri-Cities Quilt Show!

I can hardly wait to see Jason Yenter and the results of the Color Story Challenge Quilts.

I was happy to see so many entered this year.  41 total Challenge Quilts.

I didn't get any Pictures on Monday, but I can show my Quilt now.

These are the color crayons I chose.

Wild Strawberry, Lavendar & Orchid

I chose Green for my 4th color.

Here it is on my machine, Betsy!

It wasn't the correct size so I had to add to the Top.

I used my Bernina Artista to Embroider the words and pretty Purple design.

The arched topper added just the right amount to be

 24" x 36"

Can you see the Hearts?   

The Hearts were inspired by the Temecula Valentine mini.  

I changed the 4-patch to a three piece unit though,

& eliminated one seam.  

I did take a few pictures of the show & Tell.

There was an En Provence that will be at the Show.

I wish mine was finished to be in the show this year.

WOW- Wednesday March 22, 2017

This is WHAT I , should be, Working on...

I called it Buried Treasure in this picture.

Right now it must really be Buried, because I can't find it.

It's a stack of Blocks hiding in the Quilting Zone.

I have more projects in that present state than I care to count.

I showed my Stacks over on Instagram on Day 8 

and here a few posts ago.

Thank goodness, I have a few Retreats to go and work on these stacks this year.

The Blue and White LUS (center) is top of the list to get DONE.

I will keep trying to locate the missing Blocks and get them together before the end of the Month.

Design Wall/Floor Monday - March 20, 2017

It's the 1st Day of Spring!!!

What better day to Celebrate a new Flimsy Finish.

Thankful for Quiltmania in Richland having the cute stripe.

My Guild Block of the Month is Completed and now added to the To Be Quilted Stack.

Saturday Tiara Time with Brandi at the Guild Sew-in.

It was the 1st time I used the New Sewing Machine Apron from the Guild also.

We made blocks for the Hearts and Flowers Quilts that are made for Members.

Yes, There were PRIZES!

I made 3 of the Cake Blocks so I can send one to 

Temecula Quilt Co. HERE

I'm still DEBATING on whether I will go to the Guild Sew-in!
I have so many things I could accomplish if I stayed home.
Trends weather kept me away, it's almost always rainy in Portland, OR.
I'll miss seeing and hearing from Marti Michell tomorrow, oh well...

I'm not Irish but I did eat a Green decorated Cream Puff this am.

Reason's to Quilt- Wednesday WOW

What Am I Working on this WEDNESDAY??

Well, the IG Prompt was People and Quilts.

I spent way too long, I could call this one WAY Back Wednesday...

I killed a Lot of time finding and documenting these Quilt pictures today.

These Faces made my DAY!

Back in 2014 when I delivered M & C's Bouquet of Friendship Quilt.

These grandchildren went to get the quilts I had made just for them in 2009- 2010.

The girl on the Right was so small when I made her BIG Girl Quilt.

I Quilt because I want these Grandchildren to have a Grandma HUG even when I'm not with them!

Happy that there is Sun Shining in Wyoming.

I asked for the Girls but Brother wanted his quilt in a Picture too!

2012 -I made this Mystery Quilt and had a Visitor to pose with it after I put in on the Bed.

Had to Pose the Girls with the Quilt we entered in the Tri-City Show in 2011

Making a quilt to give her Little sister was fun for my Oldest Grand-daughter in 2011

In 2008 I made Christmas Quilts for the Families.

Each one of these could tell a Long Story.
Trying to get them to stand still for a group Picture wasn't easy and they had to goof off, of course.

2003 - In Burbank I made this T-Shirt Quilt for my Tall BOY.

This is the Only T- Shirt one ever Finished totally.
There are other Projects on the agenda, I can't show them yet!
This was a fun distraction.
