WOW-WEDNESDAY

 It was Chocolate Day!
I put Cocoa and granola in my Waffle.
Added sliced Banana and Whipped Cream

Treats for the Swap Day at Powered by Fabric.
It was a full house, so I didn't stay.
Took more down on our way to check on
 Family History Center.

Finally quilted!!
Not Perfect, but I got the machine to go!

My favorite is seeing done and unrolling it
off the top rail.
I did a simple flower design.
Still working on spacing and learning where the SAFE ZONE is.
Next is getting it bound and labeled!
Then I can deliver it!!

How's your Wednesday??

Monday - Design Wall

Yesterday we had Halloween Treats for our
 Linger Longer
I made Pumpkin Chocolate Chip cookies and Chocolate No-Bakes.
Aka: "Gorilla Poops"
I made a mountain of cookies,
3rd dish in.
Tonight we have a Halloween YSA Party.

I put the final border on the
"Star of Wonder"
It doesn't show up much but it's ready for Quilting.

After I finish Elsie’s Baby Quilt.
The backing is already on so loading is
gonna be easy.
What are you working on?

Flimsy Friday TA-DA!

Paul picked all of the tomatoes before trash day.
I had enough ripe ones for another
batch of Grandma Waite's Chili Sauce.

Still was waiting for my Bella Box to arrive.
I ordered the Thread Kit and  more Stablizer.
It came in a couple of days.

Today was Christmas at Powered by Fabric.
I got this finally put together.
One side and corner is not like the other.
Time for the frogger to come out again.

I got the borders on Elsie’s Baby Quilt.
Ta Da!
Now to get it Quilted before next Friday.

And finally on my Doorstep...
Now I can stitch away with the kit and
full color instructions.

The local ladies who stitch a lot at
Powered by Fabric are making a row Quilt.
Using the Accuquilt Cutter and fun Dies.
Darlene hates her picture taken.
Opps missed part of the row.

A few of the ladies made Button Pumpkins
These 2 are Eddie's.

Julie made one and I took her picture with it
before she left.

We always have a fun time at Powered by Fabric!
Happy Fri-Yay!
 Missing Market again this year.
It the 50th Anniversary of Quilt Market
and Festival in Houston.

WOW-Wednesday

Yesterday, I really needed this Big Ice Cream Cone!
Fast Eddy's is the only place that has the Swirl cone.
Not McDonald's or Burger King!
I would have checked for the Dole Whip but there was fencing and construction going on in the parking lot by Brights!
I was running errands and somehow the item I went to get wasn't with my stuff when I got home.
I checked the Trunk multiple times.
Finally drove clear across the town to get it again.
It felt like a Monday all over again!

So on to the rest of my day...
I took a walk down Memory lane at the
 Country Store.
Who remembers these?
I do! We had a set!

And these??
No,  I did not buy them.
My Grandma and Aunts had them.

I sorted though the things that will be wrapped
for December- Hubby's 25 Days if gifts.
I needed a few more small things.
I found some treasures!
Can't wait for December 1st.
But... there's a Thanksgiving to prepare for!

And these Tomatoes are calling to me.
Hubby has brought in the big Pot that I
 couldn't reach in the garage.
Ready set Peel, chop and cook!

Quilting is still waiting downstairs for me.

Missed My Monday!

Did you miss my Monday Posting too?
I woke up early and drove to my Quilt Guild meeting in Tri-Cities.
Quilted apparel was demonstrated and shared.
Our fellow Guild member made these.
I only took one picture.
It was very inspiring.

The road home was not fun -  detour at 9 mile hill.
Somebody had a bad day!

This was at the "Hoedown" Saturday night

Our Grandaughter brought her guy to meet us.
They let me take their picture by the Welcome sign.
Cute Couple.

This was Our Friday.
In no particular order...
Leaving the Quilt Show!
Proof I was there.

The winner of the Cherrywood exhibition.

Only Quiltville Quilt on display.
Rhododendron Trail Mystery
I hate that it was folded up!
Is it better to hang over the top?

Our 1st stop was at the famous One Sister Barn.
1st time visit!!

The Barn isn't really large.

Quilts hung all up the walls and on the ceiling.

I have the Book to make the Ornaments Quilt.

Cute Barn Quilt.
Farm Sweet Farm by Lori Holt.

Lori Holt Sew Along.
I have a few parts of mine made somewhere...

I loved the 3 Trees in a row.

WOW-WEDNESDAY

It's almost Halloween...
A Halloween Chuck arrived with a couple Charm Packs this week.
Had to get one for my collection!

It's The Spokane Quilt Show weekend.
Here is the link.
I wish we were going on a Bus...
I miss those days!

And Homecoming for Walla Walla HIgh School.
Our Grandson came to try on the Tux I bought when our boys were going to school dances.
Sew fun to see him all dressed up.

I'm thinking of Christmas.
My Christmas Club package came today.
Thanks MGQS!

The Kimberbell Bella Box has shipped
from MeTime.
My Jenny Box is here, put away until Dec 1st.
I look forward to opening one gift for
25 days in December!

Jenny is in Africa ripping 1" Strips and
crocheting table mats.
It was fun to see the 2 Doan Girls sharing the
Tuesday Newsday spot.
Cute stuff in their Gifty shops!

But in the Basement I will get stitching
later than usual today.
Come back on Friday or maybe Monday to see.

Monday Design Wall & Floor

I took my Portable Design Wall to the
Stay-at-Home Retreat.
I doubled the blocks for my Indigo Way Mystery.
On to make Half blocks to go around and make at least 7 more Blocks for a square quilt.

This is not the final layout!
I know a few blocks are turned wrong.
I left the Design Wall there for the
 Sunday Retreaters.

I tried to sew more of the Christmas in July QAL
from Fat Quarter Shop.
"Star of Wonder"
I got most of the fabric locally, yea!
Next up week 4 & 5.

Week 2

Week 3

I stitched late into the night with the
few who stayed up.
I was Home in my Bed much earlier than at my other WASIQ & Hotel Retreats with Lynn.
I ❤️  Retreats!
I hope to get more done this weekend
when we go to the Spokane Quilt Show.

WOW-Wednesday

What fun to see Kris and Kim on WNW
(What's New Wednesday)
From Hamilton Missouri!!
Can't wait to see all the new Stuff coming at
 Quilt Market.
I got my Mug Rugs 6 in my mail this week.
Today the embellishment Kit came.
So many new designs to make for
family and friends.

We did our good deed for the day!
Baby girl needed something for the right
side of her house.
Hydrangeas to plant.
We had one growing too close to our fan unit.
It split into 3.

They'll perk up now that it's cooler.
They'll need watered good for a few days.

Paul invited me to come take pictures.
Labor of Love 😍

See, I do more than Quilt!
I did more Hexies at Powered by Fabric.
It was fun to play with a few solid ones.
The Polka dots are all done.
I might need a few more in contrasting colors.

Have a good Wednesday.
I need a nap after all that work this morning.

Monday, Monday!

That Mama's and Papas song is as old as time.
Getting older and remembering the good old days.
A few say I changed after Covid.
Hopefully for the good.
I know my Sew-Jo changed.
I miss all the Blog Hops and lots of things.
This Blog started because my kids had Blogs too.
Quilts are still a Favorite 😍
But what a choice I have to make every day
I enter the Quilt Zone.
Do I choose to finish an Embroidery project?
Trying to decide on a Bag or a pillow.

Or a LONG awaited project?
I still need to make the last 2 blocks for
Riley Blake Block Challenge Quilt.
Before the next one starts...

The Blocks on that wall have been there
Way Too Long!!

Halloween and Black Friday are getting close.
This needs to be a flimsy!

And this project I worked on at Retreat.

The purple passion quilt is screaming
to be finished.

My version of our guilds Raffle Quilt.
Needs the piecing done for the border.
All are sew Doable!
But where did my Mo-Jo go?

Today is a UFO day at Eddie's.
I need to stay home after my Chiropractor.
I had to reschedule my Chiropractor appointment.
Slept too long or stood in the shower...
It felt so good!

Which one should I tackle??
Quilt Guild is tomorrow night.
I need a Show n Share.
