Monday -Designing a Special Quilt

It's time to get working on a
Wedding Quilt.
I didn't think I had Grandchild old enough.
But, it is happening!
I found my Blue Roses Stash
 by Jackie Robinson.
I think some on the left will work.
I have a creamy Background of Roses for the Background.

My Humble Quilts Doll Quilt Swap partner sent this cute Pinwheel quilt.
This Swap is a favorite!
Happy Monday!!

Krazy Horse Quilters Show is Today!
I  entered my Good Fortune, and the
3 Granddaughters quilts.

I mailed out 2 secret projects,
BEFORE the Deadline!
My Humble Quilts Doll Quilt Swap.
Such tiny Binding!
It told me to Hand Quilt it.
That took a day away from sending it out.
My Spring Quilt Market Quilt is on its way to Minnesota, then to Kansas City.
I forgot to get a Beauty shot :(
Wishing I had time to go and see it in the Benartex booth.
May calendar is Full up!!!
I have a wedding quilt to make.
I'm missing the Guild Quilt Retreat
 This was 2015.

I had to at least look at the April UFO.
49 blocks and 3 half blocks.
This is using the novelty 1930's fabrics.
Gotta figure out the sashing.
It goes on Point so it will look very different.
2 days in April left to sew next week.
The rest of the weekend will be
Quilt Show travel related.

I will do the Antennas for sure.

I took a fun "In the Hoop" Class with my
Artist a Bernina.
I've been waiting for the chance to learn to make things in the Hoop!
Happy Earth Day!

WOW-WEDNESDAY - Secret Stitching, WIP, & Sneak Peek

It was National Stay in your PJ'S Day!
I needed to get the Secret Stitching Project
for Animas Quilts to the Flimsy yesterday.
Hurray,  stitching accomplished!
I found a great use for my
Essential Triangle Tool.
Lined up the string-pieced flippy corners,
Put that 1/4" on the seams and Trim.
I  love finding a new way to use fun tools!

This Double Dresden Plate WIP was found
recently while sorting in the Quilt Zone.
Pieced, Placed, Pressed, & Pinned!
Wendy, Sylvia and I  started these in UTAH
last May or was it from a few months
 before at Road to California??
Not my colors...
Wendy posted her finished pillow yesterday on Instagram,  lol.

Now the Quilt Market Quilt is ready for the Quilting, I can get my Doll Swap quilt done.
Here's a Sneak peek.
Both the Quilt Market project and Doll Quilts Swap are due by May 1st.
Checking the boxes in my
Quilter's Planner!
Have a great Wednesday.

Friday Finish on Saturday

I got the Binding sewn down enroute.
I tested it on the hotel bed.
I finished as we got to Idaho Falls.
Had to make a stop here.
Grandpa & Tall Boy Brant held it up
in their new house.
Blurry picture because someone was moving...
I think it is long enough to keep them warm in a Wyoming night.
They will Sleep good under the Stars.
It's Frosty out there this morning.
Who ordered the White stuff??

Design Wall Monday - not much to show

Since I can't show what I'm stitching ...
My granddaughter made a T-Shirt Quilt during her Spring Break.
I get to quilt it.

The TV got attached to the Wall.
I've been cleaning still, we are busy making room for the girls at Grandma Camp.
I have found some treasures.
Organizing is fun. NOT!

I've been a Member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers for 20+ years
Today, I get to go to my Sisters for Lunch.

This book came in the mail
I can't wait to share this quilt.
I took it to my friend to work her Magic.

This is my Dad!
1960 was a long time ago.
I remember him today.
39 years ago he went to be with Momma.
39 Years later a LDS Temple was announced in my home town.
Moses Lake Washington
I squealed and cried!
I think they were Jumping for JOY!
I love Conference the beautiful Hymns that make me weep.

Being a Random winner is fun!
These colors are so calming.
I just want to sit and look at them.

I needed a Day in my Basement.
Then, this happened...
So, the Quilt was unloaded, a big piece of backing was sewn on, then it got re-loaded.
Quilt-on!
The red Snappers make the re-loading so much easier!!
Star Valley Stars needs the binding.
I will get it attached and stitch it enroute to Wyoming next week.
I love a Roadtrip  to see my Grandchildren!
The Pop Stars 'Seahawks' Table Runner is for a GAME NIGHT at
