WOW-WEDNESDAY - A 4th Finish in October

I have had a good month.
It's October 31st!
The Jelly-Roll Challenge quilt is Due.
I got it quilted and bound just in time.
I really like making these Stars.
They are even more fun Scrappy.
My One Monthly Goal wasn't
linked up in October.
If I had,  it probably wouldn't have gotten done anyway.
My other pressing projects with deadlines took all my time.
I am anxious to see how many votes I get for my Jelly-Roll Challenge quilt.
I'll turn it in this morning.
Nothing like the last minute,  right?

Happy Halloween!
What are you working on? ?

Design Wall Monday -It's Fall Ya'll

I made this little quilt for Fall
I used the fall- colored strips from the
Jelly-Roll I chose for the Challenge.
My Jelly Roll Quilt is due by Wednesday.
Gotta get it quilted.

I got distracted, lol
After trying rulers on the Longarm.
I asked DH if he could make a
Ruler base for Betsy.
I couldn't find one made for it.
It's kinda rough, but I put some contact paper on it.
I think it just might work.

Linking up with Small Quilts and Doll Quilts HERE

There's a Birthday boy in the Family!
He's a fun boy!
I am so glad I got to go and play in with him and his sister in September.
Walking to the Park, Bus Stop & driving to Story Time, the Post Office, Family Dollar.

Friday- "Sajou" Link-up

Lori Of Humble Quilts
2018 SAL
"Sajou"
My quilt was done in one evening.
I had fun using my Civil War stash.
I Hand Quilted it.
That hardly ever happens.
It just spoke to me.
The binding isn't on it in this picture.
It goes on tonight while I watch the Hallmark Channel,  lol
I will add it to the link-up HERE

Here's what else has been going on.
Lots of prize winning...
The Quilter's Planner came from the Bloggers Quilt Festival.
It came with a Quilty Planner Magazine and some Paper Pieces for a Projects inside.
I won a Pod +2 patters and a Quilt snip
on the Spokane Bus Trip.
The other fat Quarters came from the
Quilting on the Dry Side Shop Hop.
Day 3 of the HQ Academy.
Gina showed us Textures  & Fills.

We learned some fun things to do
on a Longarm other than Quilts with Kelly.
The Bottom picture is a Thread bag, made totally on the Longarm,
using the Channel Locks.
She also showed us how to apply a Binding on the Longarm.
Here we are in our Tiaras!
Thankul for the reminder
& for getting the picture, Brandy!
Any Day spent Sewing or Quilting is a

Finally, I  can share

I'm in the top left picture with her.
Top right is my oldest Neice and DD#1.
Bottom is me with my brothers 2 daughters.
Their mom is in the back right, by the stage.

WOW-WEDNESDAY -I'm Back!

I am happy to be back!!
10 days of a Social Media Fast
is a lot of missed posts!!
Thanks for worrying about me,
 Janessa & Judy D!
It all started at the Womens Broadcast.
Our Prophet Russell M Nelson challenged the Womens and Young Women to take a 10 day Social media Fast.
I thought...
I fasted when he challenged the youth.
Their Social media fast was only 7 days.
I heard Caroline Kennedy call it a cleanse.
It wasn't that hard.
I just had to leave my phone upstairs and Sew my days away.
3 Quilts are almost done! (pics later)
I also spent 3 of those days in the Temple.
3 different Temples in fact.
We took Roma &Gordon with us to the Brigham City Temple last Friday.
Then it was Kristen & Stephen's Wedding.
The Sun shown down on them
& the Logan Temple.
After pictures, there was a ring ceremony,  it sprinkled some and the Umbrella
 came out.
It's 'good luck' some say for it to rain on your wedding day.
We passed by at least 6 Temples on the way.
We made the most of our Trip, driving to Wyoming Saturday to attend Church with
Brant & Tina Crowther.

I loved making the Dresses and Slips for the 3 beautiful granddaughters!

I missed wishing 2 special people Happy Birthday.
That's 1 of the best parts of Social Media.
Happy Belated Birthday Christen & Coy!!
Picture collages are ready to post later.

Cutting for the rest of the Blocks can start.
I have all day today and Saturday to Sew.
These blocks inspired another project for a class at Sew n Vac and Spas HERE
Class lists for October are on the Website.
Gotta finish samples for November.

WOW-Wednesday -Shop Hop Done

It was a fun day to spend with my
Tiara Time Buddy
Her Blog is Here
Brandy and I finished the Southern/Oregon part of the
Quilting on the Dry Side Shop Hop!
It was her 1st time getting all the Shops.
I am so glad Tara at Walla Walla Sew N Vac and Spas suggested
I ask her to go with me.
It's way more Fun with a friend.
I told her I considered putting my Tiara on before I picked her up. Lol
Here's a peek at the shop samples made from the Red & White Stars.
So many different ways to put the
Red & White Stars together.
So inspiring to see all the shops.
A couple panels, a Quilt Backing, and more Red & White fabric might have jumped into my bag...

Today is the day to cut the Pop Tarts inspired quilt.

Whatcha working on?
Tell me in the comments.

Wild berry Pop Tarts.
These are the fabrics I found.
Time to get it cut out.

These are addictive.
