I thought I  had them all fixed!

Good thing I  looked again before adding the borders.

Back to the Ripper again!

   

I've not felt too good all week. 

It was a good time for 2 of my

 Quilty magazines to arrive.

I  hope the end of my sickly days are near!

I  got a few more letters cut for my Banner class next week.

I need to unsew a bit before adding the borders.

I found 4 sashings that were turned.

Here are the fabrics I want to use for the Border. 

 I'm torn between the 2 Browns and the coral does't have enough for doing a larger border

Maybe an inner border??
The Corner Triangle will be that cute Fat Quarter I got at Road to California.
I forgot to show all my goodies last week.

My Monday Plan got de-railed with a hacking cough that has taken over.

No Fun to miss out on sleep!

Friday - Banner Finish

I still want to finish the I Love Quilts one.

"Betsy" was being naughty, the tension needs adjusting.

Since I didn't want to try "Betsy" again, I did a Pillowcase turn on this -

I'm all caught up on the Spelling Bee Saturday.

I sewed the Car and Camper on Wednesday night.

 

I used Scraps to make these.

I have a big bag of them from a friend.

I will work on getting my Knitting project done this week so I can report it.

WOW - Wednesday - What a weekend

 Fun times at the Road to California Show!

I saw many quilts I liked and took a few pictures of them.

 I even took some I had to delete.

I didn't see the NO PICTURES sign.

Many quilt shows turn the Men's restroom into WO-Men's restrooms.

Gotta love the potted plant in the urinal.

 Tiny Hexies and YoYos in this quilt called 30 Something.

I liked the effect the Pinwheel Sashing make in the outer border.

The black background makes it really pop. 

 Look closely at the Family Tree.

 More tiny Hexies made into a Hummingbird.

This was a special Exhibit inspired by the "Night Sky" by Van Gogh

1st 2nd and 3rd place winners.

Another special Exhibit had famous faces telling HERstory.

So much work in these mini quilts.

We were fed well, thanks to Chef Doug

We had sunshine in So California this year!! A day at the Beach was on the agenda.

Wendy & Sylvia met me at the Alaska Terminal at LAX on Thursday afternoon.

Yummy food & a view to die for. 

We walked down the steep hill to get a better view.

We enjoyed a day at Road to California.
Lots of Quilts, Fabrics, & People to see.

I made a Block for the Thomas Fire Relief.

Almost done with our Friendship Trees we are swapping in May,
I thougth I needed them this trip! lol

Finally Friday Finish - HB- Brant!

It's almost a flimsy.

I need more of the corner fabric.

 I might just add a Brown or Coral Border to stabilize the edges.

It took a lot of ripping again to get it to this point. 

I see a couple more errors and will fix them before the borders go on.

Now I can start the Let's Bake SAL with Lori Holt next week.

I ordered the Sinple shapes and a Layer cake of the Bake Sale 2 fabric.

WOW - Wednesday - Wishin for a finish...

I had a great Birthday, full of family and food.

Lots of Birthday Wishes online and on my phone, too.

DD#1 took me to Lunch after Quilt Guild.

Some Bagels in Richland's Uptown Shopping Center.

& Dinner at La Casita with Paul.

Had to wear the BIG Sombrero.

Deep fried Ice cream, yummy,.

with a candle to Blow OUT!

So glad there were 61 to blow out.

Paul brought home a German Chocolate cake too.

Thanks goodness we feed the Missionaries tonight so they will help eat this.

My girls gave me gifts.

Almost there...

OH, That Row!!!

I had the sashings wrong all the way across. 

I love my Clover White Seam Ripper, BUT this is just too much of it.

I'm Rippin & Stitchin!!

I swear I ripped off those corners at least 4 times, 

before realizing it was the whole row above that was messed up.

Leftover parts are all over, but I'm not adding more to this quilt, it needs to be DONE!

Design Wall Monday January 15, 2018

I'm still plugging away on my Quiltville Mystery.

Sorry for the blurry Camera phone picture.

I remembered I have a REAL Design wall that I bought last year for Grandma Camp.

I put it up and one of the poles was broken, :(

See that row of Sashing??  

Time for the Ripper when I get back from Quilt Guild in Tri-Cities.

The whole row is turned wrong!!!

Debating on whether to rip-it and turn the whole row around

 or do each part seperately, between the cornerstones.

It's my 61st Birthday

I made mini Cupcakes and took some to my Birthday Buddies after Church yesterday.

The plant came from my Visiting Teachers from Church who visited last week.

Paul left my Candy Bar and Card on the table, I woke up when he fired up his truck and found it.

Nice of him to NOT wake me up, lol

It's a No Mail Day, but my Wyoming son sent his SWEET letter early so I'm feeling love!

AND it's the BEST day to be on Facebook and Instagram.

Lots of Happy Birthday Wishes on there from all over the world.

Hope your day is a good one.

I'm taking MINI Chocolate Cupcakes to my Quilt Guild in Tri-Cities.
