It's a FriYay!

I was sew excited to sew at home on my
Bernina after a day of Featherweight stitching.
I have " Old Town" Blocks to assemble!
Oops! A wayward hst in that left corner.
Note to self...always look at the picture before posting on Social media!
It's an easy fix.
Love seeing all the Tula fabric in this Block!

I made a couple stops for the Shop hop this week.
Collected some pretty Blues.

The White Bluffs Winter Shop Hop is almost over.
Their Quilt display is from the
American Quilt Study Group.
I checked to see if my Friends had Quilts
in the gallery.

So many fun borders!!

The Gallery wall shot.

I didn't have much time, more shops to hop...

There was a Quilter playing with her
Old Town blocks.
I didn't get the photo bomb.
Sorry about the lights.

This display is up for a while more through February.

Goodbye to January!
We get to welcome home our
Grandson Missionary from Ohio today.
DD#2 is driving us.

Thinking of all my friends mourning the
loss of the many young Skaters who died in the Potomac plane Crash.

WOW-WEDNESDAY... Ocean Waves Scrap Day

It was a Scrap Day at Powered by Fabric.
Eddie said, "Let's make an Ocean Waves Quilt."
So I took my Scraps of Blues and neutrals and
cut, sewed and pressed.
The Quilty fairies left some Chuck the Ducks for me.

I don't know how many blocks all these hsts will make,  but it's a start.
I took my Featherweight machine down
to stitch on.
Old fashioned Quilt needs an old machine to work on the making of it. Right?
Yes, this is a new Start-i-tus project.
Happy end of January.

WOW Wednesday

I found my tote of Confetti Cotton fabric.
I have a few colors in there from past
RBD Block Challenges.

I ordered 2 colors I didn't have.
Got 2 Chuck the Ducks.
Put them on the post downstairs already.

Block one cut out and ready to stitch.

Monday- Birthday Week

 This is where I'm at.
I finished stitching parts 7 & 8
These need to be Stitched with Hourglass units.
Part of the sashings.
Part 9 has the other part of the sashing.

Part 8 was a repeat with different colors.

Then I could put a few blocks together.
I stacked a bunch of parts to see how many
I can make with the parts that are done.
Webbing the sides units together then
I'll sew the Center units and make my Blocks.

I'm sewing a few at a time.
Jack, the ripper has come out, sad face!
All better now.
The week starts with Daughters of Utah Pioneers.
Tomorrow is Walla Walla Quilt Guild
And a hand sew day at Eddie's.
Busy week.
I've been dragging since last Thursday.
Trying to get a cold.
The family is joining us for dinner at
 Texas Roadhouse on my Birthday.
Hurray!
I need to renew my Driver's license too.

Wow-Wednesday

After a busy weekend away, I came home to see if
 I could make a block.
These parts needed some stitching first.
Just a few Flying geese and HSTs to put a Block
 on my design board.
I love my combo of colors.
Tula Pink vintage in the middle.
The Teal is Tula fabric, too.

Whatcha doing this Wednesday?

Fri-Yay- Reveal day

I Stitched and Stitched.
Pressed, trimmed and counted.
Still not ready for the Reveal.

I love playing with the sets of block parts.
Kind of hard to make a Number 5.

I think I will love my Quilt!
Lots of Purple where her red is.
Pink where her coral is.
Checkerboard border.
And chains through the sashings.

1st Wow - Wednesday 2025

Today was a Cutting day at Powered by Fabric.
I got behind in my Mystery parts.
Lots and lots of Essential Triangle Tool cutting!
HSTs and Flying geese are ready to power stitch.
Hubby asks how many hours will you be?

I drew lines on my squares for this part.
Now to stitch...
We'll see how much I get done in a few hours...
I came home and took a long nap.

I re-joined the MGQS Club again.

Also helped a friend, No blog, to put her project
on the wall in the back room.
She had hoped to Give this to her father
 this last Christmas.
Directions were not the best.
Photo shows how she tried to see if she liked the white instead of the Green corners
 to show off the Holly.
Quilting by committee works.
Taking a picture is the best way to
make a decision.

Happy New Year!
There were about 20 quilters who came
 to sew today.
Did you eat your Ham, Black-eyed Peas,
cabbage and corn bread for good luck?
