Happy Fri-YAY!

I didn't get a Chuck the Duck in my MSQC package so I printed one for myself.

I had to order the Missouri Star Fabric line in White, Aqua and the Multi Print.
The Block Magazine is a Duplicate, AGAIN!
 I wish I didn't keep doing that.

I'm working on the Great Grandsons quilts again.
Gotta finish them so I can make the one I really want to make.
This was my Post for Yesterday's "Must Make"

Exploding Heart in PURPLES!
The Purple Tote is over-flowing!

Today was "Favorite Post"
I couldn't get a screenshot so I took a picture of my computer.
We almost made it to see this place in Southern Utah last September.
Moab is way down there.
The Heart Quilt is super cute too!

IGQuiltfest is over for another year and I'm sad to see it go.
National Quilting Month was fun to see something different every day.
I miss the Blogger's Quilt Festival Amy used to do.

The Daffodils are blooming at the Temple.
And this is blooming at home.

Enjoy the General Conference Weekend!
We'll be with the YSA all Day Saturday.
Banana Bread, Pancakes and yummy Bacon, Chocolate Milk, and Cold Cereal.

WOW - Wednesday "Favorite Quilt"

Day 22 - 2023 IGQuiltfest "Favorite Quilt"
Amy of Amy's Creative Side asks: "You know, the quilt that always seems to be rumpled up on the couch, being drug around the house by a toddler, or your fur baby snuggled up. Share your quilt being used and loved, and if you can tell us what makes it the most loved quilt."
Since the only one here dragging a quilt around these days is the Hubby I'll have to share this Quilt that I made for his parents but didn't finish before his Father passed away. Given to his Mother and given back to us. He has been using it on the recliner as he has recovered from Physical Therapy through this past winter. He drags it in to the bedroom to take a nap. I made it with a bunch of other Quilters as a Mystery for Charity with Heather Spence "Jack of Hearts" is the pattern name. Finished in 2014 and given to her around Valentines Day. It's just the right size for resting on the couch. Thanks Amy!!!
Paul in the Recliner.

Paul's Mother with her Jack of Hearts Quilt.
I put the Sunflowers on the back to remind her of the Farm.

The light Blue Blocks look a bit like Hearts in a Square.
I changed the Layout for this version.

My Jack of Hearts #2 I finished in 2017
to share with Jason Yenter at the Tri-Cities Quilt Show
You can see the "Hearts" better in the original setting.

What am I Working on today?
Just attaching Bindings so I can stitch in the Hotel while I stay in Tri-Cities.
Quilt Show Set-Up is tomorrow!

I have thought about taking my Machine and stitching in the Hotel.

Come back on Friday to See the TA-DAS!
I will finally share the whole Quilt of those I entered in the show.
AND the Challenge Quilts
"Illusion" was the Theme, I didn't make one this year.

What are you working on?

Monday- Monday!

I answered the Question of Why do You Quilt?  yesterday for the IGQuiltfest 2023

Because of all my grandbabies, and mom's who send me pictures like this.
Babies grow up and need bigger Quilts, Get Married and then more babies join the Family.
I call it QuiltinGrandma Job security.
Sew much Fabric to use up before I can't sew/quilt anymore...
Quilting is cheaper than therapy, just saying

This Quilt says it best, that's why it's my tag line on my emails.

It's a Monday and I get to stay home!
My favorite day of the week is any SEW Day...
Make it a great week, my Bloggy Friends!
