Here she is! NO, Not the Baby...
I got the quilt done before the baby got here. YEA!
I love this quilt, It has been so fun to watch it take shape.
The wind and rain was starting when I put it up outside for the pictures.
Some of the first Blocks. Sister's Choice is a FREE Pattern HERE.
Bonnie Hunter says 'Neutral is anything from White to Paper bag Brown'.
It wasn't not easy for me to use all these neutrals but I am glad I did.
The full center. At this point I didn't think it was big enough. I knew what border I wanted, but had to figure out how to make it work. The fabrics I got from Kori's Grandma's Garage are used in the Ribbon Border. I made all the parts first thing when I got to the Retreat last Thursday. I had a little inspiration from Lori Holt HERE.
I am happy with the last border. Here it is on the floor at the Retreat.
I think it looks like a "ruffle" around the center.
Here it is --Loaded on the Bernina Table ready for the quilting...I had to look through a few magazines for 'inspiration'. Then I heard the quilt tell me to quilt "hearts" in there. Don't you love when the Quilt talks to You??
This one has been talking a lot! I had to put in the Girl's Basketball players fabric. I wonder what color her hair will be??? The challenge has already been issued for a Basketball game when the girls are old enough to dribble the Ball.
I like to see the quilting from the back. My hanging system works great outside.
Stained glass??
I'm sure it will keep a little girl warm this coming Winter. I delivered it at the Baby Shower last night. I waited to write on the Label for the spelling of her name.
She will have a 'Big Girl' name after she is here, but she's just Katie for now.

She can come anytime, her mother says...
