Quiltville Mystery Final En Provence Link-up & Design Wall Monday February 13, 2017

The Flimsy has been posted on Instagram and Facebook a little.
Lot's of LIKES (295) there.
I am so happy to have this Mystery to Flimsy in time for the Final Link-up.

TA DA!
A picture on the remaining SNOW.

Dear Hubby Took this Picture of me wearing my En Provence T-Shirt that I ordered.
I also ordered the Pins, but need a way to display them- any ideas for that?
I thought it fitting to wear it for the Finale'
This might just be my Favorite Mystery since I used mostly my Fairy Frost Stash fabrics.
It just sparkles!
I spent a while deciding how the Purple 4-Patches should go around the edge with the Tri-Recs.
The outside ones don't all run the same way on Purpose. Just saying.
It needs a good pressing and maybe a stitch around all those 4-patch seams to stabilized the edges.
Maybe I need to add one small Purple border to attach to the leaders for quilting...

I had hoped to have it on the Quilting table, but this Class Sample is still on.
I worked on it during the recent QUILTATHON with Judy L.
I have a NEW Name for it.
Since the Kona Color of the year is Flamingo!
"Flamingo Churn Dash"
I'm finding a troublesome line on my screen when I try to Scale the Border Panto.
Something is Up, I'll have to ask at Sew n Vac.

I used 2 of Wasatch Quilting Patterns on this one.
Bonnie shared this Block on QuiltCAM, yesterday.
I only have the 3 other Borders to Quilt!

Quiltville Mystery Link-up and Design Wall/Floor Monday - January 9, 2017

It's a double Link-up DAY
I spent quite a bit of time Preparing the units and laying out my version of En Provence.
There was a Quitathon and I linked up with Judy L Friday and Saturday.

Try as I might I just couldn't get the parts sewn on the En Provence Mystery.
Here is the last Layout I took a picture of before picking it all up to take to the machine.
I will sew it together as soon as I can after my Daughters of Utah Luncheon.
Everything is weather permitting...
Taking a VERY CLOSE LOOK at this picture to make sure all the units are correctly oriented.
Edit: Thanks Tracey for catching those pesky turned pink tri-recs. Top left on picture.
Please let me know in your comment if you see any errors.
I'm not sure how much more I will do at this point besides adding the Neutral 4-patch border.

The Knitted Blessing Dress is done, & I have that New Baby Girl Quilt in the works...
along with a few other projects That I need done for Classes at SEW n VAC coming up.

I posted this picture on FB Saturday and got a comment
that I had some of my Purple 4-patches turned.
This was at MID-DAY.
I have located and fixed all the errors, I hope.
Dear Hubby went to Tri-cities and brought home the fabric I needed to finish the blank spots.
He wanted me to go but I declined.
I'm so grateful he could go and bring home Food for the Week and my fabric.
What a GUY!
The roads were dicey, and he drove about 30 MPH in "White Out" conditions.
Here's a picture of my backyard taken while it was snowing.
BIG, FAT, FLUFFY FLAKES
5+ inches of it on Saturday.
Sunday was Freezing Rain on top of 2 more inches.
Wishing you a safe and warm week.
I will be hunkered down, waiting for the Snow and Ice to stop.

Quiltville Mystery Link-up #4 and Design Wall Monday - December 19, 2016

It's a MONDAY around Here!
I didn't get to work on Clue 4 until today.
Last week was full of SNOW Shoveling, Grandma Time and Goodie making.
My Activities Calendar is FULL!  It's a good thing, really.

Imagine my Horror to find I have run out of my Neutral, the White Fairy Frost.
So sad I didn't realize in time to buy some last week.
My trips venturing out have been few.

So I have just 4 of Clue 4 made
76 more to sew
My Clue 2 needs more of the Neutral also.
I will get more fabric once the LQS opens today.
The New Baby Quilt used up the fabric I thought I had for the En Provence.
I will show the 4 Clues again. How are the colors looking?

Just for the Record I will leave you with some the Goodies I've been making.
Don't drool on your Screen, LOL
Some of these went to my Tri-cities/ Zillah Children this week.
Welcome home to MILTON!!!
We were happy to see all of the Grandchildren when we delivered our Goodies.
A pleasure to be entertained by the Ransom Children.
V played the Piano and O played her violin & Piano
Then the 3 youngest sang for us.

Walla Walla 3rd Ward Christmas Party was on Friday.
As predicted my Tray was the first one EMPTY.
It was well breathed on by the Young ones before the Opening Prayer was offered.
The program from our Youth - the Nativity
I Loved the Lambs especially!
The Primary Choir had a front row view.

Christmas will be here in just 5 more SLEEPS!
There has been a change of Plans-  3 of my Families are coming for Christmas Dinner.

2016 Quiltville Mystery Linky day #1

YEA!!! it's a Linky Day!

After the Wyoming family left and my local boys went home with their hard working dad,
I could get my Mystery going.
I had to make a choice.
Cut just one single fabric or add a 2nd Neutral.
I chose the leftover fabric from my Jubilee Diamond Dash,
60 4-patches made and I'll get the rest sewn over this week.

This quilt is going to "Sparkle" with all the Fairy Frost!
I used my June Taylor ruler to sub-cut the parts.
And the Purple Gypsy Cutter to cut between the chain piecing.
Spun the seams and pressed, stacked in sets of 10.
This week is less busy, so just another day of stitching I can finish Clue 1.
What colors will we use next??
I found a Green that I liked better.
Fingers crossed, I get to cut into it for Clue 2.

Thanks to BONNIE for the Fun and easy Clue to start!

Friday!!!! Missing FALL Quilt Market :(

Listening to my Phone beep every time Instagram pics go up from Market brings on the memories...
I'm distracted and want to spend all day on my Phone, lol

I made a Quick Dash to Tri-Cities yesterday for the Color Cards Bonnie Revealed on Thursday.
Go HERE, unless you already have, hahaha
My local Sherwin Williams had only 2 of the colors.
So here are the Colors I've put in this booklet with the Mystery Picture copied from Quiltville.
I hurried to put the Pages I printed yesterday in here.
I took them with me to LOWE'S.

The cards were plentiful and easy to find with the numbers given on Facebook.
I didn't take too many just an extra set for a friend.
Before I went to town I looked at the Quiltville Blog
I thought, "Easter EGG" colors.
I had to look at my STASH and remembered my Michael Miller Fairy Frost fabrics.
Here's my choices with a few extra fabrics thrown in for now.
Bonnie's Colorway
And my Option, trading the Yellow for Baby Blue.
The Greens are the BIG Question.
Which shade will WIN?
What do you think?

I have these totes I bought at Costco.
I wonder where my Inspiration came from???

I have a LOT of Purples but not all of them are the 'right' ones.
For Example my  Diamond Jubilee Dash

Good thing I had the Color card at the Fabric Store.
It jumped off the shelf at me.
I HAD to BUY a Little...
I'm attracted to all things PURPLE!
SOOOO glad Bonnie put 2 shades in this years Mystery.

I have more stuff to get done today so it's time to get my day started.
I know it's almost NOON!
This is on the agenda---
Gotta get my Trunk Ready for the "Trunk or Treat"
Even one of my Pumpkins had to be Purple.
I looked for Purple Battery Operated lights, None to be found at Lowe's.
There will be some Spray paint and Glitter going on...

Have a Hauntingly, Happy Friday!
I read it's "National Chocolate Day"
Better find my Button.
