Finally February -Bye January

January was a good month.
I kinda celebrated my B-day all month.
Lots of Family Events, Priesthood Ordinations,  Baptism, Airplane ride,
Food Poisoning,  lost voice, Temple service,
Meetings,  new friends, Lunch dates.
The list could go on and on...
My #7 UFO  barely made an appearance.
Edited to add: February UFO is #10
"Moth in the Window"

On Instagram,  lol.
I  hope to do better in February.
The "Good Fortune" Mystery was talking louder to NOT go into the UFO pile.
I'll save that Final picture for the
Quiltville Link-up on Monday.
On the final day of the month,
I got to sew on my favorite Purple Bernina.
Fresh from the 'Spa' week.
It takes longer when the main Belt is bad.
It had be replaced along with a spring on the Bobbin winder.
I made some Trees!
I  decided that the EQ8 pattern looked like
PEAKY and SPIKE!
So that is what I chose to use.
NO Paper Piecing if I can help it!
This Block is the Center for
QUILTER'S PLANNER Sew-Along on IG.
I mistakenly made a Block from the Planner, thinking it was the right one
for the SAL.
This block will go somewhere in the quilt.

Design Wall Monday - New project Temptation

Lori Holt started the Farm Sweet Farm SAL HERE
It's week one... time for a Pig and a Horse.
My Simple shapes arrived and I printed out the Free SAL Guide.

But I am not starting this one just yet!
Instead I am making Trees!
EQ8 Makes it easy.
Templates or Rotary cutting?
That is the question.

Watch to see how many I can make this week.
We have Birthdays to Celebrate!

Still debating on the Krazy Quilters Show vs the Quilt Retreat.
