WOW- Wednesday

It's Wednesday and I am HOME!
I had no POWER yesterday...so I took the Opportunity to drive to Tri-Cities.
Had a surprise visit with DD#1.
She was at Kohl's the same time and we didn't see each other.
When I learned I couldn't use my Kohl's Cash until today.
I texted her and asked if I could leave it there for her to pick up later.
I can't sneak into Town and get away without seeing at least one of my Children.

I came home to fun Mail
My Copy of Richard Paul Evans NEW Book
"The Noel Diary"

Darn SNOW on the Mountains keeping me in Walla Walla.
So Sad!!!

I also got  these two Row by Rows that I ordered.
November is when the Shops can mail the Rows to us.
I ordered the Kissed Quilts from my Friend Marlene on her Facebook page.
The Quilted Posies was at the Spokane Quilt Show, so I pre-paid for it there.

Since I had no Power yesterday, I couldn't sew in the dark basement.
I used my big flashlight and ventured down to get my 'Purple' Bernina to take it for a Spa Treatment.

Oh the Horror when Janine showed me that it was DRY as a Bone.
I got a lesson on HOW to oil it, and sadly the dust bunnies didn't get removed before I went.
No pictures to protect the guilty.
Take good care of my baby Dewey!

I had to sew on my other Bernina to make my Uppercase 'D' Block
"D is for Donut" usually at my House but there wasn't one I could put in the Picture.
Here are both 'D' blocks...with a Toy Dalmation DOG
I'm ready for "Spelling Bee Saturday"
Thanks to my Oldest Son; Milton, I have a collection of these Dalmation Dogs from McD's.

Last Night's Knitting at Lacey Lacers
I bought some new Yarn at the New Yarn Shop in town - "Purl 2"
What will I make with it???
I can Knit while I Fly away to someplace WARM!
I can Knit while I watch Hallmark Christmas Movies, too.

There was a PINK CHURN DASH sighting yesterday.

Have a Wonderful Wednesday- whatever you are Working on.

  1. You are a dedicated book signing attendee, Mary. The 4 hour drive would be enough to keep me home, even if the weather was good. :)
Good job on your D blocks.
My SIL recorded that movie and put it on a disk for me to watch. I remember seeing the quilt.

  2. I watched your Hallmark movie, and there is a part where memories are going through her mind, and Karen Carpenter is singing a Christmas song in the background... I cried because Karen died of effects of anorexia when she was 30. AND I was 30 at the time. When I remember that I cry. Someone so YOUNG dying for no good reason.
