November Quilt Guild- Lotto Block

Tonight at Guild there were 16 blocks brought in.
"Tennessee"
Not everyone signed for a number so there were only four of us in the running to WIN.
 Congrats to Barb B!

S is for Spinning 4 - Patch

HERE  is the Link to the Block I made for Guild this month.
It's Nat'l Sewing Month so I used some Sewing related fabric in Blue.
I provided the pieces of Kona White and asked them to add their FAV Color for stitching for this month.

I couldn't get through the day without using the "ripper".
Can you see the Opps I found when I went to take the picture of my Demo Board?
I keep looking at this Block and think it could be made easier by making
4 Hourglass blocks then adding the 2-color corners.
I really like my 6.5" Tucker Trimmer for making Hourglass blocks!

I had to make another version of the Lotto Block for September
Last month my number got called 2-3 times.  I didn't want to win two months in a row.
"Ruins of Jericho"

10 Blocks brought this month
Won by Pam M!

My NEW Fun Cutting Gizmo tool helps a lot when making HST's
and Deb Tucker's Tucker Trimmer are my spotlighted tools for Squaring down blocks.

The Disappearing 9-Patch Baby Quilts that were made at a recent SEW-IN were shared.
This is still one of my go-to patterns for a fast quilt.  They all look so different with the fabrics selected.

Great Job Ladies!  These Charity quilts are going to 1st Steps and Family Health Services.
