Design Wall Monday April 6, 2015

Time to work on my Loyal Union Sampler BOW happened this week-end.
I had a little time to myself while DH attended his Priesthood Meeting.
We watched all 4 of the General Conference Sessions.
The last one was in Tri-cites with DD #1 and her family.
Then we made the rounds to drop off the Chocolate Covered goodies to the
DS #1 & #2 Families and my DMIL

H-11 Potomac

This one was fairly easy once I figured out the finished size of the HST's should have been 2".
I get flustered when patterns that don't give you a finished size to square the blocks down to.

Here's the Big EQ7 Layout.
Caught up for now.

This week I'll be working on a 2nd version of the Strippy Stars for my class Wed- Friday.
I can always use another Sample, Right?

  1. It's so nice to get the preview with EQ. I have it with my Dear Jane but have gotten sooo far behind. Can't wait to see the finished product

  2. It was a good conference, wasn't it? They always are.
It frustrates me, too, when a pattern doesn't give the size to square up units. I know I can figure it out, but I feel like I shouldn't have to. The pattern should give that info. I've tested a couple of patterns for friends and that is the suggestion I usually have to give. : )

  3. I love those blocks you are doing for the sampler. Blues and whites are such a great combination, too. I watched all four sessions, too, in spite of things that tried to interfere. =) I loved Sunday morning the best, I think, but it's hard to say for sure. I think I prefer that conference and Easter be different weekends, though! LOL
